[ The journal shows that it is indeed Lucrezia, but her voice is infinitely lighter, as if the weight of the world has been lifted from it and now her words can lilt more freely. ]
To the most gracious Cassandra Cain,
I was told you are kindly and most eager to help lost souls such as myself find my proper rooms at this certain Castle. Such that I would be grateful if you might ride fast to carry me away from this palazzo.
Perhaps my presence can bring you more joy than it has brought the master of this house, who does not seem entirely pleased by my interruption.
Most humbly,
Lucrezia Borgia
[ ooc; loss start! ]

And she's younger, it's easier to see that. Lighter, bubbly in a way she almost was before now, and not loving a young Lucrezia is just as impossible as not loving the one she had grown so close to here.]
Cassandra. Or Cass, up to you.

Cassandra is prettier name, like her owner.
no subject
Lucrezia is prettiest, though.
[There, she'll just give it right back. She holds her hand out for the other girl to take, ready to lead her away from the mansion if she's ready. This doesn't feel like something as simple as a sleepover, so Cass doesn't ask about changes of clothes or anything like that. If they need anything, she'll just wish for it.]
Ready to go?
no subject
If she would take the offered arm with more grace when older, this time she practically goes to hug the girl's arm as they go. ]
Yes, but you must tell me first of this castle. Is it lovely?
no subject
She absolutely doesn't mind the hugging, either.]
Very lovely. Fit for queens, even. I live in city, but we can... go see castle, if you want.
no subject
No, I should like to see where the Princess of Troy lives.

[And there's someone there that's going to have a very hard time with this, but abandoning Lucrezia somewhere she doesn't even know is out of the question.]
Are you hungry?
[Would Joshua even think to feed her?]
no subject
Only if you are.
no subject
[I just seems important to get that out there. Even if Lucrezia doesn't know she can trust Cass, it just... she needed to say it. She brings the arm that Lucrezia isn't holding onto up, showing off the bracelet with the knight charm hanging from it.]
I'm a knight, see? Will protect you.
no subject
Lucrezia was less frightened to find herself waking up in a strange man's room than she was sad to find she wasn't wanted there. She's happy only to know that Cassandra likes her company. Besides, her family will come for her soon enough, and then everything will be well.
She reaches to fiddle with that charm with a giggle. ]
Whose knight are you?

If I say please and smile most sweetly?
no subject
Add kiss, and you have deal.
no subject
But we must first be friends before I would kiss you.

no subject
There. Friend and knight, now.
no subject
I never thought I would ever have a princess for a friend and knight.

[That's definitely the general vibe Lucrezia gives off, anyway. They're getting closer to the apartment she shares with Tim and Stephanie, so Cass points it out.]
That's my castle.
no subject
What else does your castle boast aside from a knighted princess?

[She doesn't mean for that to come out sounding so incredulous, but... well, it's kind of an unthinkable thing. Why would she have a lover?]
No. Just people... that I love.
no subject
[ She grips her tight, quiet for a moment. ]
I was told this Joshua was [ is? ] mine.
no subject
[She's pretty sure sex is a requirement for people to be lovers and that's still a thing she hasn't done yet. When Lucrezia squeezes, Cass smiles at her and draws her in closer. It's protective and comforting all at once.]
He is, sort of. Don't think you... really give it name. You're a pair.
