So. It's that time already.

I know it doesn't mean much, in the current state of chaos and whatnot, but I've been here for three Earth years today. It feels like a lot longer.

So many people I know have been sent home at this point. Some of them have been sent home twice. Makes you wonder when it'll be your turn.

I know, right? Me and Nikola [she bites back some pain for a second, before continuing on, her tones as bright and breezy as ever] we used to promise one another we'd do the other in if we ever started sparkling.

Everything making sense for a bloody start.

Oh please...life is just as fucked up back home as it is here. The only difference being you're not as likely to wake up in space or find you've swapped bodies with your neighbour.

Yes. It makes me glad I don't live in the same city as their university. We get distance between us and them.

Yeah I can see the appeal...there's less chance of you getting caught in the middle of everything when it starts raining frogs.
