The First Death Discovered [ Written (Cause what else could it be? ) ]
[ This would come in the early morning, when most people should be up, and about, around. He had spent the wee hours attempting to clean up the mess he had found in Sheena's room, wanting to give her the dignity that the Gentleman had denied her (though Ashura did not know it had been the Gentleman, only that someone or someones had done this). When she had been cleaned, properly dressed, and laid out, only then had he found the strength to open the journal and pen this... ]
Sheena is dead.
I found her early this morning in her chambers, cut with some sort of sharp instrument. Whoever did this had... no care for what they left behind. I do not know who did it, or why. I cannot say that Sheena had such enemies as to have such a terrible thing fall on her.
I have her resting in the best state I can manage if you wish to pay respects, though I think time might be better spent figuring out whom among us committed such a crime, and bring them to justice. Also, I would advise all to be wary and keep your wits about you. It is likely this could happen again.
[ He had nothing else to say, setting his journal aside and breathing shallowly. So much tragedy... ]

Sheena. That-
That is not okay. She had lost some of her friends, and then something... cuts and kills her? (he almost wants to know more - it could be worse or better, depending on the kind of cut and whatnot, but this really isn't the time.)
His handwriting is worse now. ]
Sheena?
[ He almost scribbles "are you sure" after that, because that is almost an understandable response. But he remembers that he's the one who can't see. Ashura would be able to see it was her. ]

I wish it were not so.
[ And he did, he truly did. He did not wish for this bright young woman who called him uncle to be gone, even if only for a time. Even though Death was not a permanent thing here, it was Death all the same. He looked up at her, reaching out and touching the cold hand, as if seeking warmth he knew would not be there. ]

[ Its crooked. Might look more like a slash. Duke doesn't like this at all. ]
going to find somewhere and sit. Probably in seeing distance of
someone
[ Really this is Duke trying to figure out how to deal with this, and failing miserably at options. He's going to go settle somewhere and...
Well, sulk isn't accurate, but he more or less wants to be alone right now. ]

You think it could have been one of us? Who would even- [HIs writing trails off, he can't get the words on paper right] Thanks. For taking care of her.

She deserves better, but I am not trained in the ways of laying one out for the final rest.
I do not know if it is one of us, but certainly it is possibility. I do not like entertaining it. I suspect someone with skill with a blade, for she has cut marks, but they are not amateurish, and they are... deliberate. And if it is an outside force... who? And how did no one sense them or see them coming from our home?
no subject
Deliberate? What, like someone cut her - [he pauses, taking in a deep breath. He can do this] cut her throat or something?

He writes one word in the journal]
Where?
no subject
Her room. I am there now. I do not think anyone would come back and disturb her body, but I have read... It does not matter.
no subject
Which room?

Thank you for telling us all. I know it must have been a shock to find her so.
I hate to ask, but I must: did you see anything that could be taken as a clue?
no subject
Nothing that I could see, save the nature of the wounds. As I said, they look very precise, not jagged. The tool used must have been very sharp and the person skilled, but I do not think they had a deep interest in her. I hate to say it, but... she might have been a random choice. The state she was left in...
[ And been abominable. And he hated them for that alone. ]
I do not know anyone among us who would even do this, unless under Castle influence...

Continue? It has happened before?

So when Conan runs out, she uses an invisiblity spell and follows. Gotta make sure he doesn't get himself killed.]

What? But she can't be dead! I was just talking to her yesterday!

Believe me, I checked her again and again before I made this announcement. She is dead, for however long that will actually last here.

Ok I've got two questions.
1) Any idea what instrument was used?
2) Where was she cut?
Re: Written
A blade of some sort. No other instrument I know of could cut so cleanly, but I would imagine it would be small considering the precision of it. Anything to big would not have managed this. As for where - it is on her chest.

Re: [Written]
In time, she will. So far, Death has not been permanent here, or if it has, it has been in very select and few cases. Still, that does not make the dying pleasant - for anyone.
Action;
He arrives at her door not long after, hanging back in the hall while the 'investigators' do their work and he burns through a cigarette. He only enters once they leave, expression grave and a little too obviously shaken as he takes in the scene.]
Re: Action;
[ Ashura is still sitting there quietly with the body, a sheet up to her chin, like she was sleeping. Ashura simply looked... tired. Very tired, hands in his lap as he watched her still form, back to the door.
He tilted his head slightly, hearing another person, glancing back finally to see. ]
