Hermione? Remus? Professor Dumbledore? Anyone? I can't seem to find my Invisibility Cloak anywhere. I have my other things that came with me when the castle brought me here. Yet, I can't find it anywhere. [He has his wand, broomstick and most of what he had at Grimmuald Place, yet the Cloak had vanished. He was worried.]

If anyone sees it anywhere, please can you get it back to me? It's very valuable, as it once belonged to my late father. I just really hope this isn't anything to do with the "loss" that Hermione told me about, when I got here. [Harry felt almost naked without it. Vulnerable. He still had the Marauder's Map, which was something.]

Yeah, so...if you can find it, I'd be very grateful.

I'm sorry, Harry, but if the castle didn't let you keep it, then I'm afraid it isn't here. It might have something to do with the losses, which means you'll have quite a tough time trying to get it back.
I'm sure that for now it is safe and sound, though.

The only way I can see the Castle allowing you to have it would be if it gave you another loss. I am sorry, Harry ... that Cloak is also very precious to James.

I'm not entirely sure myself, but I suppose it might have something to do with the fact that our emotions help power the Castle's magic somehow.
The castle didn't take any valuables from me, but it did render me unable to read anything comfortably unless I'm sitting under a table. Which is rather odd...

[ Though, it really isn't. Remus wants to be able to read without straining his back, thank you! ]

I could wish for it, from home. I don't know what the equal cost will be, seeing as wishing for too many things too often puts a strain on the Castle, but I could do it.
The only catch would be that the Castle would not allow you to actually have it. It took it from you for a reason, after all.
I will simply keep it with me, for safekeeping, until you are able to have it again. Will that be alright?

Remus, I don't know what to say. It sounds a great idea but what if.....what if the cost is too high on your end? I don't want you getting hurt, Remus. Or anything stolen from you too. [Harry didn't want to be selfish. He felt a pang of pride at how brave Remus was being. Just like how he knew the man back in his own world.]

The only way to know how much the cost is, is to try wishing for it. I doubt it will be too high and if I have to go through another temporary loss, I will do so without any hesitation.
