033 - HOT!
[Chell's sitting in the lobby, eating a shaved ice and trying to keep cool, and flipping through the journal when she thinks of a question to pose.]
I read somewhere that if you crack an egg, you can put it in direct sun long enough, and it will fry. Do you suppose if I were to put an egg on the roof it would fry? And if so, how long would it take?
Also, does anybody have any idea what's going on? I've only experienced one fall before this, but it doesn't seem natural? Isn't it supposed to get cooler? Like it was yesterday?
Oh... If you're also as burned up as I am, I found a recipe for something called shaved ice, and I've wished up ingredients and made one for myself. But I'd be happy to make more if anyone else wants one too.

Dictated
Depends on the place, but it doesn't generally change as much as it just did. Castle doesn't normally fuck with the weather?
Re: Dictated
Sometimes... But not like this.
[You can probably also hear the shaved ice machine whirring in the background as she makes another.]
Hey... Have you ever fried an egg on a roof? Just curious.
Dictated
Nah. The sidewalk, once, for kicks, and on cars from time to time - they heat up quicker. Generally cleaner, too.
Re: Dictated
[Written forever.]
Hmm. I'm not sure. It could be either one. Fried egg on a car sounds metallic.
Dictated
Better'n covered in dirt when you're in a pinch. Or bird crap.
Re: Dictated
Ew. I can just imagine. And thanks, man.
[Smiley face in the journal. With flames coming off it.]
Dictated/Written
You're welcome.
Re: Dictated/Written
[She giggles at his ice cream, and adds a nice cherry on top, and some sprinkles, and a tiny lawn chair under the smiley.]
Hell. The smiley might as well have a place to sit to enjoy the yummy ice cream.
[She pencils in a tongue on the smiley so that it can lick the ice cream.]
Long time since I've done dual drawing.
[She writes under the picture.]
Dictated/Written
[And so the smiley face gets a stick figure body, with one arm holding the ice cream.]
Then you should be glad you're drawin' with me and not my brother.
[No further explanation necessary.]
Re: Dictated/Written
[Chell chuckles.]
I like the way you think!
