[Carson was in the clinic when the power went out, and when he heard the evacuation orders, and as soon as he does, he's standing up immediately, walking out and up the stairs. As he walks, he has his journal out.]

Good afternoon, everyone. I'm the floor captain for floor six, Dr. Carson Beckett. Could everyone please come out of their rooms and meet in the hallway? Can you also bring candles, torches, anything that can give off some light.

Those residents not in their rooms, can I ask if you can go to the Ballroom immediately. And, everyone? Stay calm. Please.

[And to the castle in general.]

Anyone requiring medical attention should know that the clinic is still open. Anyone who can't find their way to the clinic should report their last known location to myself or a member of the clinic staff. Someone will be with you as soon as we can.

[This done, Carson finally realises the creepy noises going on, the creaks and groans. He's trying to ignore them, but he's obviously spooked]

That's good. Means the castle hasn't released any beasties to prey on people in the dark.

It is entirely possible that nothing may happen.

I would try telling yourself that nothing will happen. Even if there is something there it can help you to relax and manage the situation a little easier.

Aye. Aye, you're right. I've been in worse situations like this... And this is no bug-filled cave.

That certainly sounds as if it could have been more disastrous.

I can't remember why we were there, but we needed to go get something from a cave filled with Iratus bugs. Nasty little buggers. Parasitic.

Do you remember what occurred afterwards? [ She's clueing in as much to the not remembering as keeping with the story ]

Not immediately... Nor do I remember why we were there. We just had to go into the nest..

I think that the castle may have had something to do with that, as to why you are unable to remember being there. It seems odd that you would simply have to go there without knowing why.

No, I don't, but I suspect it to be magical.

As most injuries here appear to be. [ Magic wasn't her forté but she'd keep an eye on him ]
