[Bruce has been here for a few months, but hasn't really made any close friends, though that's hardly unusual for him. Still, Christmas is coming up and, well, it's as good a reason as any to try and socialize more.]

What are the usual traditions around here for Christmas and Thanksgiving? Are there communal dinners? I can't imagine the castle supporting something so...positive, but it does like twisting things.

No no, as in I won't be able to move around as much I usually do. Too many risks, too many people.

[Not that hiding away seems to stop her from getting kissed. Maybe she should just set up a permanent shield spell built to keep people at a safe radius away from her. If she could pay the energy cost to keep it up]

Oh. I, yeah...some people have mentioned the castle likes to play kissing games at this time of year. I can see why you'd keep away from others.

Let's just say a group of residents share the castle's ideas on what's "fun."

The clinic might not be the best choice. Too many people come in there on a daily basis. And you can't lock the doors.

I can't stay in my room every time the castle has a bad attitude. I would end up never leaving. I know that's the general consensus of the castle, but is it particularly difficult during the holiday season?

Last year the castle put a bunch of enchanted nutcrackers that forced people to make out.

Assuming it's nutcrackers again... it's also been mistletoe, or candy. You got any medicine to fix embarrassment?

Well, at least mistletoe is traditional. I wish I did, believe me. I'm more worried about people taking this out on each other.

Aside from the... forced makeouts, there were some beautiful decorations last year. I think they are enjoyable, as long as one exercises due caution.

Not that I am aware of- I assume people will throw parties or a ball, though.

Indeed it is. It seems to enjoy putting some sort of twist into the most carefully-laid plans.

Yeah, it does. I wouldn't mind it ruining my plans, if it didn't have plans of it's own so much.
