(There are drawings on the page - circles and diagrams that illustrate powerful spells. Tylendel has written runes under the drawings - the ones he recalls from memory, at least. He has even added the "Gate" spell, but it is mostly crossed out. That is a spell that holds far too many bad memories, though he can't help but wonder if it could be put to use in the castle.)

Has any Mage attempted Extraplanar Proxy in the castle? Or even on the grounds? I've managed Spontaneous Direct Manipulation and Artifice, but those are child's play.

The castle is so unpredictable that it would be nice to have more eyes everywhere.

I had been working on a theory back home, sort of, but it would need more than my abilities alone to complete, and I do not think the right spirits exist here to make it a reality...

Have you searched? Perhaps together we could find an elemental spirit. I know a sacrifice is required, but it depends on the strength of the elemental.

(Magic is important to him, yet he is still unsure about it. He doesn't want to burden or endanger Vanyel with his fear.)

Are you sure you are feeling up to it though, Tylendel? You should not push yourself to much. Confidence is as necessary as skill and power when working magic, you know that.

Very true. Can you show me your research on it? We will need to prepare the spells carefully, and probably need to summon several focus stones to help us.

One of the towers, perhaps. I would suggest the castle roof, but it is a bit cold for that, I think.

I've had experience with being in a bad state before. I'd get us down one way or another.

Unless you're from my world, probably not. The sort of magic taught at the Collegium seems foreign in the castle.

The kind of magic in my world is not much like any of the magic I have heard of here either. But its rather interesting to learn of magic from other worlds, don't you think?

Definitely! I would like to exchange notes if you ever have a free moment. But I don't like to pry. Magic can be very personal in my world.

It most likely is. That wouldn't surprise me in the least.

[It's normally a more Dairine reaction to get huffy about being treated like a kid. But after having saved the world multiple times and having handled the Book of Night with Moon, it's more than a little annoying to have someone try to place training wheels on her. She gives a little huff of irritation.]

I deal with dangerous wizardry on a near daily basis. I can handle it.
