[Dictated/Action for Third Floor]

[Conan scrawls down a quick note into the journal, his annoyance making him dig the pencil a little deeper into the page than normal.]

If anyone needs me today, I will be in my room.

[That said, Conan turns back to staring at the complicated puzzle completely blocking him from entering room 308. It was the fifth time this had had happened to him in the last half hour. He sighs in irritation.]

The least the castle could do is make it complicated enough to be interesting.

[Sugar had been flying down the hall when she notices a familar kid.]

Conan~!

[Yay, playmate! She zooms over to say hello.]

Hi! What're you doing?

Trying to get into my room.

[The answer comes absently as he frowns at his door.

Because the door is blocked. [He was extremely annoyed about this.]

[She flies over to the door and lands on its doorknob.]

See? It's easy!

[He scowls.]

[She blinks.]

At what? [After all, she got there just fine.]

[He pushes a hand up against the door and watches as the blue barrier instantly snaps into place.]

[At the colorful display, she starts clapping her hands gleefully.]

Oooh, pretty! [...Yeah, totally missing the point here.]

[Conan sighs and goes back to solving the puzzle.]

[She watches him from her perch.]

So what was that thing?

[He presses one last piece, and the blue barrier vanishes.]

The castle's tricks again.

[When the barrier vanishes she hops off the doorknob to hover in the air.]

Whoa! It's gone now. Does that mean you can go in your room?

If another one doesn't show up.

[But hes moving through the door right away to prevent that.]

[Sugar follows him into the room.]

Do you think that's possible?

Of course its possible. Its already happened several times today.

Really? Do you think another will show up here?

It doesn't matter. I'm staying here until it stops.

I would suggest flying, but I doubt you're cut out for that.
