[Except it's not really a message. Young Legolas has gotten a whole of his journal and is now drawing in said journal. First appears a drawing of a deer and then a tree followed flowers and a river. He's a surprisingly good artist (for a child) and doesn't stop there. All sorts of small forest animals start appearing on the page. And the next. Never anything scary though, Legolas sticks with the nice animals.

WRITTEN i know i said i needed to wait but
And, well, it was a magic notebook, and Thranduil didn't need an excuse to add a touch more wonder to his son's life. So he began to edit Legolas's drawings, adding in details that he had not - falling leaves little creatures, flowers blooming. The art was almost alive, with details blossoming out of nothing.]

Legolas gives a cry and quickly scribbles in a warrior firing an arrow at the spider.]

Grabbing a few crayons, she starts drawing a very misshapen teddy bear next to the other forest animals. Her drawing looks much more her age, perhaps even younger. It's hard to draw when you are the size of the crayon.]

Sugar quickly adds what she hopes looks like a sun and rain fairy up in the sky. You probably look more like winged stick figures playing a trumpet and violin. She draws some music notes around them.]
