I can imagine. Compared to inevitabilities like death or drifting apart, a loss like this seems... unnatural.

Can I ask what the Death Match is?

It's a bar located inside the castle. [He draws a simple sketch of where it's located.] I tend there part-time, since I have an appreciation for fine alcohol.

It's one of the places I've overlooked, then. I've explored the castle extensively, but apparently not comprehensively.

What do you serve?

Alcohol of any sort you can wish up. I know, it seems weird to have a bar when you can just wish anything up, but the atmosphere is important, too.

So you don't make any of your own, then.

Au contraire, I do brew my own beer. It's pretty nice if I do say so myself.

I'd like to sample it sometime. How much do you charge? I'm not used to dealing in money; I don't know what a suitable price is.

We'll say your first bottle is on the house, then.

I do try my best. Currency doesn't really mean much here in the end, anyway, what with the wishing- but I know some people like having it because it helps things feel more... normal.

[Castle had moved from a barstool to behind the bar when he knew he'd be having a guest, looking forlorn as he leaned against the counter. He waved at the man as he entered.]

[Hell yyyyyeah; he loves it when people can see him.]

[Castle nods, pouring a glass of beer for the man.]

And now you're here to collect. New to Paradisa, I'm assuming?

Better than most people do, I think.

You know, I felt that way, too. I try to see the best side in everything, though, to be fair. And here I had a ready-made joke. It was like, yo Paradisa, we heard you like castles so here's someone named Castle in your castle.

[He'd never get tired of that joke.]

[Pitch is way too uncool to get that reference, but he gets the meaning behind it anyway.]

Is that what I should call you, then? Castle?

[Castle nods, picking up a glass and wiping it out, just to have something to do with his hands.]

It's my last name, really, but that's what pretty much everyone calls me.
