[After her morning flight confirmed that yes, the town is still in its new state, Firethroat curled up to rest with her journal. A puff of warm air opens it to a new page.]

I suppose most of you have noticed the changes in town by now. I must say, I am surprised not to hear more fuss over it, since the switch happened so abruptly. Were I back within my territory, I would not take such changes lightly. However, things are different for all of us here.

Tell me, if you know, how often do such changes occur?

I suppose it might have been considered modern. The style was unlike what I last saw on Earth.

However, the style the buildings are in now is much more similar to what was near my territory during my last years on Earth.

The structures that humans like to make, the buildings, were altered. Their style is much more akin to what I remember.

From time to time, yes. It most often occurs around Earth holidays celebrated by humans. The castle may take on another form, as if putting on a mask, leading us to believe we are in another setting or that the castle has changed.

Is that so. I suppose then these temporary alterations are achieved through some form of magic then, like an illusion?

Hm. Nothing that large, in the time I have been here, which is just over three years. The castle has enacted small temporary alterations in the past, from what I hear, but that is all.

What alterations has it done before?

I've heard a few tales of big changes here. Let's see... the caste remodelled once and everyone ended up camping for a while, I believe. Then there was a few months ago where everyone found themselves on the lawns in their pyjamas, for those that wear them that is, and the Towers inside the castle just, zap, empty, but this now.

With the town itself, I've not seen that before. Hello. I'm the Doctor, by the way.

A number of changes then, but mostly centering around the building. I wonder what has caused it to spread so far this time.

The castle is responsible for many things. Changes in the environment are not so uncommon but for them to last this long, that is irregular. It looks like it may very well be permanent.
