So, you know what sucks?

After Paradisa's little face lift, it's decided that the arcade was a blemish that, for whatever reason, wasn't charming enough to keep around! Like, I get that there's a parlor. I sure did spend a few days acclimating to that thing, but as much as tabletops are a good homage to antiquated days past, much like the castle's changes, sometimes a girl needs to unwind with some good old fashioned button combos-- not mashing!

I figure I might as well wish up a shitload of arcade games and stuff them in my room, if anyone's interested. There's enough gaming paraphenalia in there to begin with. Not that I need company, but it's always nice to see if anyone possesses some semblance of a challenge!

On the other side of the spectrum, if you've been cooped up, starting to feel restless, and kind of need to go outside and play? The outposts are still a thing if you want to explore literally anything that isn't civilization. The view's pretty uninteresting after a few days with literally nothing going on outside lately-- not that I'm trying to rock that boat by jinxing us.

In any case, I've been here for years, and as much as I don't want to be unoriginal and pathetic and say "I'm bored! Bluhhh!", it's always good to have a change of pace!

It really is! I always pick the lion racer every time, but they have all sorts of other ones you can choose from. And what's really neat is that you can get these items you can use to make the other racers mess up. It is a very competitive game.

Several minutes pass, but it's only because a few bags of cheese puffs keep falling out of the wagon every ten or so feet and she has to stop and pile them back into the wagon. It's still better than her sylladex, she figures.

When she finally makes it to Vriska's room, she wastes no time in letting herself in, bags of snacks still falling out of the wagon one by one while she tries to get it through the door.]

Sometimes? I know when we went to that other magic castle and dealt with all those Pokemon, and those dinosaurs it had happened before... But I wasn't around those first times.

So one of the terrifying things it's done in the past could repeat itself, too. It's not as if you don't have anything to fear.

Yeah, but if you really think about it? The castle can do any number of fucked up things at any given moment! It's just a matter of when. No sense in living it up between bouts of fuckery!

Hello, again. I've decided to set aside our differences and pretend the whole thing the other day never happened-- As long as you are, of course.

If you don't mind my asking, how long have you been here? And what's an arcade? And tell me more about this "outpost"-- Sounds like it could be fun!

[As far as her questions are concerned?] I've been here for three years! An arcade is a room full of video games. Since you're kind of fuzzy on what an acrade is to begin with, video games are games that you typically play on a video screen! Wow! And the outposts are pretty much waypoints between the castle's reach and what we like to call the "dead zone", the zone in which powers do no work.

I have no idea what a video screen is, but it sounds like fun. [ She thinks. ] What's the point of them if they're between a "dead zone"? And do a lot of people here have powers-- Do you have powers? ... I don't have any myself, which I guess is kind of a shame. Guess my sister got all the luck there.

They act a last stop between civilization and the outdoors. You can stock up on supplies if you're an incompetent boob and don't think to bring the basics on a trip into the great unknown! Not only that, people like me who are super diligent can see if something's coming our way and can subsequently warn the people in the castle! If you need to check them out, there are transportalizers in the castle basement.

[She takes a breath!] I do have powers, they're pretty great.
