[In the past, the Castle had never tried to saddle Spike with magical fake offspring, he thought, with good reason. Then this thing came out of an egg. Apparently it was just waiting on the right inspiration.
That was a day ago, and now that he finally managed to snatch his journal back from some grabby tentacles, he can deal with this like a rational adult. His patience shot, he only flips through a few pages before asking the question that should be on everyone's mind.]
Yeah, yeah, so how do we kill it?

[ Meaning the creature's from the egg. Indeed they were odd, but Ashura, for one, though his quite unique and beautiful - even if all things flammable within a certain range were in mortal peril at any given moment. ]

[ He's going to leave out that he enjoys starting them, but Ashura thinks that is lack of control rather than malicious intent. ]

...Fire, huh? [If only setting things on fire came more naturally to everyone.]
Re: dictated;
Hmm, yes. I am afraid both of our children have gotten that little ability from me. It makes me feel sorry for the servants when I was a child...

[ Altaïr would like to think that giving a strange creature the benefit of the doubt will prevent unnecessary violence. ]

It just might.

[ He is no expert on imprinting, the Brotherhood's carrier pigeons and horses being the closest things he had to pets. But one can hope. ]
