Last week sure was different. I had no idea plants could grow indoors like that. And so fast too!

They weren't very fun plants though...

[No, they were very scary and rude plants. Same with the animals, but she would rather not think about them at all.]

Hey, do you think we could have plants indoors all the time?

I'm sure there must be some people here with some potted plants.

Well yes, but I didn't mean in pots. I meant on the ground!

[She's seen the potted plants, and while they are nice, they're not quite the same.]

You could try to build some sort of greenhouse, I suppose.

That sounds like a great idea! [She has no idea what a greenhouse is though, or what it does.]

What do we need?

Glass, I suppose. And some kind of framework.

Uh huh. And green paint!

Why would you need that?

To make the house green, of course!

[She... may be a little confused as to what a greenhouse actually entails.]

...I don't think greenhouses need to be green.

But then how will people be able to tell it's a greenhouse?

I always thought the green part was about the plants.

...Oh! You mean a greenhouse is a house for plants?

It is a place to grow plants.

I see! So it's like a garden!

Like an indoor garden.

[sugarwaffo]

That sounds wonderful!

You mean other than the numerous potted plants I'm sure the residents have?

Indoor plants really aren't that unusual.

Yeah, other than those. Do some plants grow indoors without the pots under them?

I'm sure someone could manage to set up a kind of indoor garden here if they wanted. Would just take a lot of set up. [More than Wash would ever care to do.]

Okay, what would it take?

[She might give it a go ...until she realizes how hard it will be for someone who's smaller than the flowers themselves.]

An area for the soil, soil, lighting, and the plants.

At least, that's what I'd assume. I'm not an expert.

[Sugar starts writing this down in the journal. Or at least that's what she's trying to do, though her writing looks like gibberish.]

That seem like that much. I could start wishing for it now!

You could. Just be careful you word it right, or the castle might find a way to twist the request...

Just, don't wish for plants with no specification on the kind.

If you know specific varieties of plants ad request those, you'll be safe. And try to be careful with anything potentially poisonous.

Plants can be poisonous? [OH NO. No one told her this!] How will I be able to tell?!
