I forgot to say it after Christmas and... I'm not sure if castles can talk or even hear this... but um, thank you. For lots of things.

That would be lovely, thank you. [She folds the cloak neatly over her arm before handing it to Uru. And while Uru deals with it, she'll just be casting an admiring glance about the apartment.] Your home is quite charming.

[ The apartment is not too small, but not very big either. She's tidied up the best she can on limited time, but there are still some odd books laying around on the small table. It's a book about exorcism, yep. She's still been reading to find a way to get rid of the 14th from Allen.

She has her own bedroom off to the side. The kitchen light is on, and the smell of food is wafting out of it.

She takes the cloak and goes to put lay it out in her bedroom. ]

Thank you! Sorry about Paintbrush; she doesn't like strangers. [ Lol cat.

Uru re-enters and heads for the kitchen. ]

I'll have the food out in a bit. Do you like tea?

Think nothing of it; it is not an uncommon trait in animals. [In the meantime, Galadriel will be glancing at the titles of those books. Curious, but she's not about to openly ask. Not just yet, anyway.]

[ That cat is strange anyway. She only liked Damian when he was grown up and that Damian was terrifying. >:V ]

Nothing like hot tea on a cold winter's day... it's the best.

Particularly when taken in such pleasant company.

[ She pokes her head out from the kitchen for a second. ]

You can make yourself at home! I'll be right back.

Tell me if you require my assistance. [She knows that Uru will not likely take her up on that offer, though. Galadriel settles herself on the couch there's a couch, right?, picking up one of those books and flipping through it.]

[ YES, there's a couch!!

That book in particular deals with the subject of exorcism in Christianity. Nothing is marked, nor are there any notes. In fact, Uru has probably been trying to get through the first couple of chapters alone. She doesn't know what sort of method is going to help Allen...

She comes back with a tray to set on the table, filled with different dishes. She doesn't have any chairs to sit at her dining table, so she hopes Galadriel doesn't mind dining the way Uru does. ]

[ FREEZES seeing Galadriel reading one of the books. ]

... I have to return those.

[Galadriel won't mind, of course. An important part of being a good guest is being open to your host's customs, after all.

She sets the book casually aside when Uru reenters, failing to notice (or more accurately, pretending not to notice) her reaction to it.]

A curious choice of reading material.

I-It's something I've been interested in for a while! Since sometimes we get monsters...

[She chuckles slightly as she moves to the table.]

Be at ease, child. You are entitled to your secrets, as I am entitled to mine.

[ She takes a seat and rubs the back of her neck sheepishly. ]

It's not me! I mean -- I'm not possessed.

No, indeed. That I believe I would have noted. [Super sensing powers, remember?]

[ She kinda was once... or is brainwashed the better term? Sob, aliens.

Would you be able to tell if it was the castle, too?

[She actually has to pause to think about that.] Perhaps. The castle has a strong presence; I should think I would recognize it in another. Yet it also has shown itself more than capable of interfering with my gift.

The castle likes to be secretive... [ A pause; was it the castle she did speak to before? She can't tell. She doesn't want to bring it up yet either... ]

Oh, the food and tea will get cold! [ She starts adjusting the plates so there's one for both of them. In the cups there is green tea! She also has chopsticks laid out, but on Galadriel's side she's put a fork, spoon, and knife -- just in case. ]

[Good idea, Uru. Galadriel wouldn't have the faintest idea of what to do with chopsticks.]

It looks wonderful, dear one. I must thank you again for having me.

[amiable]

[ She grins, clapping her hands together. ]

You're welcome, Galadriel! I hope you'll like the food. [ She wanted to make it fancy and such, but then decided to go with what she was most familiar and good with.

She closes her eyes, for a second. ]

Thank you for the meal!

[ And picks up her chopsticks. ]

I am sure I shall. [Ah, a grace. She's appropriately silent for that moment and then picks up her fork.]

[amiable]

[ She picks up some rice with the chopsticks first and digs into that. ]

It's not fancy... but this is a pretty common dinner back home for me!

Then I am all the more glad to sample it. [She watches Uru wield the chopsticks for a second before beginning to eat her food with her fork.] In some ways, we know very little of each other. It is pleasant to share small things such as this.

Oh, that's right! We talked about my friend's hobbies a while ago, but... I don't know what your hobbies are.
