[Bonnie has spent most of her morning in the castle kitchen baking cupcakes. It was a new hobby of hers and she was enjoying it a lot. She was currently waiting on her fifth batch to be cooked, the other batches all neatly set out and beautifully decorated. Before this, Bonnie would never have considered baking to be relaxing in the slightest and yet she felt at peace when she was in the kitchen.

There were around fifty cupcakes in total and the final batch would take it up to about sixty. Much too many for Bonnie to eat. After switching off the oven and taking out the last batch to cool, she cleaned her hands and opened her journal to announce:]

Free cupcakes! Come to the kitchen if you want one!

No, of course not. Gotten into a lot worse scrapes then tripping down a few stairs.

I know. [She's not going to get into that.] Even so, I think you should take at least three cupcakes for your trouble.

Three cupcakes? {He laughs.] You're being awful generous. [He's taking a second now.]

Hey, you deserve it. And you're a good friend. So I insist that you have three. No arguing.

No need to insist. They're really good cupcakes. I haven't had a cupcake in...a very long time.

Thanks, I'm glad you like them and there'll be plenty more because I plan on continuing to bake for as long as I'm here.

[He smiles.] Good. Because I could get used to these. Which is probably a bad thing.

It's okay if you eat them in moderation, Bucky.

It probably is. Still not used to having actual food, though. [He really isn't. Especially dessert and sweets. The chocolate the army gave out didn't count.]

I can only imagine. Do you ever think of just having a day where you'd pig out and enjoy all the foods you like? Maybe try something new? I'd definitely do something like that.

[He laughs.] It is a good idea. I do it every day, though. Every morning I drink a cup of coffee is a good day.

The coffee is amazing here. Practically all of the food is amazing. I haven't had any bad dining experiences since I arrived.

Probably because it's, well..a magic Castle. All the food is always perfect. Including coffee.

True. But I think nothing beats making things for yourself. [Speaking of, Bonnie picks up a cupcake and offers it to him.] Have another. You can always make coffee to go along with it.

That's what I meant. [He grins and takes the cupcake.] Anything you make or wish for here seems to go right. The coffee never tastes like sludge, even if I make it.

Yeah, I know. I'm still waiting for the one time the wish will backfire and give you something else instead. Which is why I'm trying to cook instead of wishing for my meals.
