The Hundred Years' War actually lasted 126 years
[Today, anyone on Castlenet will find a new annoying game, sitting there, waiting to suck away all your time and energy. It seems a certain demon is feeling much better now, and is catching up on lost time by making the rest of the castle miserable.
There had been that business with Legato, of course, but he wasn't foolish enough to let people know he was involved in that. No need to get lectured by the do-gooders when he didn't want to be. He'd done his part, as far as he was concerned.
So, he's relaxing in the kitchen, a glass of wine beside him as he flicks through the journal]
You people have been far too tense about everything lately. Time to sit back an enjoy life a bit. Seriously, the castle messes us about enough, you don't need to mess each other about and add to it all. But it's human nature, you can't help it.
So I've given you a gift. To help you work through the meaning of life. It's on Castlenet right now. You have to play right through to the end to get the answer. [There is no answer]
You're welcome.

It's all right, really. You don't have to...!
no subject
But I want to. [He's making his way back to the room now, doop de doop] You need an education.

That's the spirit.
[And eventually, he shows up, wandering across the room to turn his computer on]
You do understand how 'on' buttons work, right?
no subject
Yes, it turns it on.

Now, all you have to do is use the mouse to click what you want to go on.
no subject
A mouse?
[He looks around...]
I don't see any, and why would I ever use a rodent for such a purpose?
no subject
It's not a rodent, it's this. [He taps it] You use it to control your actions on the computer.
no subject
[He hesitantly touches it, like it will explode]
no subject
Now see, move it up and click on that picture.
no subject
Um...okay! [It takes him awhile to figure out how to move the mouse, but soon he's slowly scrolling it...in the opposite direction whoops]
no subject
Wow. I have never seen anyone suck at this this much since Aziraphale. Move it the other way.
no subject
[He'll try moving it the other way, man it's hard to try to aim it to the picture..almost...there...]

no subject
Is it supposed to do that?!
no subject
How did you even do that?
no subject
no subject
no subject
Did I break it?!
no subject
[After a moment, it goes back to normal]
...Maybe computers aren't for you.
no subject
no subject
...Wow. That's depressing.
no subject
A-At least it was a very earnest attempt?

You could always show me! What you put on there!
