[Alternatively, if you don't want to bother trying to decipher her attempt at handwriting on the bottom right of the page, there's a young girl kneeling in the middle of the floor in the lobby, journal resting on her lap. She's staring at it with a really puzzled expression, staring at all these question marks she made and hoping someone will get it.

Then again if someone tries writing back...well, she hadn't thought about that and it would be a pain since she's illiterate, but she heard voices, so she's hoping for voices in response...and yet a part of her is terrified of the idea of getting a response of any kind.]

[She pauses, still pretty startled about this whole situation and Zelman himself, but she's getting over it pretty quickly, too. As long as he doesn't make any active attempts to scare her, she...should be okay with dealing with him, at least.

Her social phobias weren't nearly as bad as they used to be, thankfully.]

[Nina leans forward into a kneeling position, then stands up from that, holding her journal out in front of her to him. She'd done a drawing earlier to try and ask someone a question, and they'd understood what she meant, so hopefully this guy will too?]
