9th Little Hope

[Vivi sits on her bed in her dark room, knees pulled to her chest, shivering and talking to herself.]

Come on, I have to be brave. I can't let a little thing like the dark scare me! [She sniffs loudly. Nope, totally not crying. Not at all.] Or the creepy things in the shadows....

[She's silent for a moment then sits up abruptly, almost yelling at the empty air.] I'm not afraid of you!!

[She hops off the bed and boldly pushes open her door then turns back to yell at the shadows.] I'm going adventuring now and you can't stop me!

N-no! Well...maybe... [She's really trying to be brave here but it's hard!] I can't see anything and there are creepy things in the dark...

I'll come find you. That way you won't have to be alone in the dark.

O-okay! It'll be more fun with two of us too, right?

Yes. Oh, my name is Triea. What's yours?

I'm Vivi! Where are you? I can't see you.... [She waves her small hands in the dark, secretly hoping she won't accidentally touch anything gross and slimy.]

[triela]

Don't worry, I have good eyesight. I'll come find you.

[yay for cyborg senses guiding her through the dark. Eventually she will find you, Vivi!]

Can I do anything to help? [She's pushed herself against a wall so she doesn't trip too much]

[triela]

Just stay where you are. It'll be easier to find you if you stay in one place.

[toyhopes]

O-okay! I'll sit by a window so you can see me better, okay? [She clambers up onto a window ledge to wait. That's where she feels safest anyway.]

[find a little girl sitting by a window. Sounds simple enough!]

I'll be the girl with the long blonde hair in pigtails.

[toyhopes]

[She leans against the glass, knees pulled up to her chin again, looking out into the darkness.]

I'm up in one of the towers. Oh! And I have blue hair, if that helps.

[triela]

That does help.

[she finds Vivi in no time with that distinction to look for]

Vivi?

[toyhopes]

I am! [She jumps down from her window ledge excitedly.]

[triela]

I'm glad to see you're okay. Come on, I'll take you to your room.

[toyhopes]

Aww, but I want to go exploring! My room is dark and boring....and scary....

[triela]

It's a little too dark to explore anywhere. But maybe we can look at the stars.

[toyhopes]

Really! That sounds like fun! I can't watch the stars much normally 'cause I have to go to bed!

[triela]

It will be fun. I can get a telescope so we can see them better.
