9th Little Hope
[Vivi sits on her bed in her dark room, knees pulled to her chest, shivering and talking to herself.]
Come on, I have to be brave. I can't let a little thing like the dark scare me! [She sniffs loudly. Nope, totally not crying. Not at all.] Or the creepy things in the shadows....
[She's silent for a moment then sits up abruptly, almost yelling at the empty air.] I'm not afraid of you!!
[She hops off the bed and boldly pushes open her door then turns back to yell at the shadows.] I'm going adventuring now and you can't stop me!
[ooc:Feel free to reply via the journal or run into her as she bravely wanders through the scary hallways]

Child, what art thou - [and oof, some kind of small child has run headlong into her. Luna stares for a moment before finally casting a light spell; looks like humans can't see in the dark.
The ball of blue light at the tip of her horn illuminates the area, enough for the kid to see a tall blue pony peering curiously at her.]

A-are you a real pony then? Not a scary thing?

Of course I am real. [a small smile] Though some ponies believe me to be scary.

There is naught to be afraid of, child. [and the glow gets a bit bigger, illuminating more of the area around them] See? Nothing in the shadows.

I should hope not; I have excellent night vision.
Now, where were you going?

[a chuckle as she turns around and starts walking down the hall] Now thou wert going in this direction...
