9th Little Hope

[Vivi sits on her bed in her dark room, knees pulled to her chest, shivering and talking to herself.]

Come on, I have to be brave. I can't let a little thing like the dark scare me! [She sniffs loudly. Nope, totally not crying. Not at all.] Or the creepy things in the shadows....

[She's silent for a moment then sits up abruptly, almost yelling at the empty air.] I'm not afraid of you!!

[She hops off the bed and boldly pushes open her door then turns back to yell at the shadows.] I'm going adventuring now and you can't stop me!

That sounds so cool! Do you have it here?? Can I see it?? Some of my papa's guards use staffs but they aren't nearly that cool!

Hm...kind've.

Here, let me show you something. I'm pretty sure you'll really like it.

[He'll pull back a step or two away from Vivi and open his jacket slightly, revealing a rather odd looking belt around his waist.

With one hand, he'll press the blue button on it, causing the buckle to suddenly light up blue as well.

With his other hand, he'll take out what looked like a pass and run it along the buckle.]

[There's a brilliant flash of azure all across his body, covering him in plain looking grey armor.

Soon, additional blue pieces of armor form around his body and then attach to it, at the same time forming the weapon he mentioned in his hand, which he balances over his shoulder.]
