[The sounds and shadows in Nepeta's cave room were becoming a bit much, so now she's roaming around the halls with her hands tightly gripping her journal. Just in case. After all, if one of her teammates or friends needs her help, she wants to be ready!

It has nothing to do with her being scared. She's no scaredy cat!

When she speaks, she tries her best to sound confident. She's a fearsome huntress, after all.]

Not having the sun isn't so bad, but some of the other stuff going on is just plain creepy!

If anyone wants some company, I would not mind being that company. I know that some people might be scared, but it's okay! I am sure this will all go away soon. Just let me know! And you can make it private, too, in case you don't want others to know you are scared. . . . .

[Her voice trails off at the end, and her footsteps come to an abrupt halt. Nepeta makes the tiniest noise of uncertainty. DOES ANYONE HEAR THAT? No? It's just her?

Her footsteps pick up the pace.]

Anyone at all! I'm not picky!

[And that's when she hears the creepiest, most frightening sound of all:

HONK.

Aaaaand she shrieks.]

[Once Nepeta has determined that her heart isn't going to burst from her chest, she sighs and closes her eyes, allowing a giggle as well.]

You really got me that time, Feferi! I forget that you can be just as sneaky as me sometimes!

[She rubs the back of her neck, feeling a bit embarrassed about it.]

I guess you're right. I just let everything get to me and keep me off of my guard. I should be acting more like you!
