seventeenth examination [ dictated / action ]

[ Helen had read the journal after Galadriel's suggestion, particularly after their 'arrival' again had received a few questionable responses. Those contacting her regarding taking time from the clinic? It made her wonder. She didn't know of being here but what if there were something more behind that - it would explain what everyone knew.

Although how could she truly know that, or know what to believe?

That morning Helen had taken herself downstairs, standing just outside of the castle in the entrance way, stood against the wall and apparently deep in thought - certainly so if her journal dictation was any indication.

A debate about it might be nice, even if it didn't get anywhere ]

What would you believe if what you were told and what you knew of your life were in conflict?

Apparently I run the clinic here.

Really? Why is that? You are a doctor, and you are hardly one to sit on your hands while things need organizing and being run properly, it only makes logical sense.

Let us consider this Helen, there are others here who know us in some fashion. So that means that perhaps, there is some truth to what the others say.

Which would mean that an older version of you is here when we are not and runs the clinic. [He shouldn't sound so calm about it.]

I am and still am, Helen. However what harm can come of running the clinic?

Of course there is, there is always more to a place than what we can see. Does not mean however, that we should believe that we have been here in the time between our first time and our last.

Then how could it be us? We clearly remember events leading up to and from where we were taken. Whose to say it's not their memories that are wrong? That this place has altered them?
