[Happy April, Paradisa! Molotov is aware that it's April Fool's Day, and she's also aware of the stupid weather, but she has a task that just can't wait.]

[All of you should have previously received a save the date card. Well, now, in an envelope addressed to you "and guest", you've received this:]



[You know, for all your formal invitation wedding needs.

Inside the envelope, there's an RSVP card, mostly because Molotov is pretty big on traditions. You know, like formalities and proper execution methods. The card literally just says to contact her through the journal. Because Molotov is dumb.

Some of your envelopes might also contain a special, handwritten note! These are mostly chastising, such as telling you to dress properly, to be on your best behavior, etc. Because Molotov is also a bitch.]

[Molotov is actually out in this terrible weather, taking care of her poor bears, making sure they're happy. Once that's done, she just holes up in the reserve's office with Mishka, reading and waiting for the rain to break.]

[ OOC: Open to anyone who might be out in that weather, for whatever reason. TO THE WEDDING INVITEES: feel free to apply whatever bitchy little note might work best for your character, if they got one. Also, the invitations went out regardless of how she feels about each particular person, so you might get attitude when you RSVP >:3 ]

Samson is an American, from farm country. After Eastern Europeans and the Irish, there is no people who loves potatoes more.

Well, it is not something I normally talk about either. Most people have never met someone who has never had a potato, and thus they do not need to extol the virtues. Do you often bring up pasta and discuss how wonderful it is, without impetus?

No, but I did lecture Stephanie when she wanted to eat pasta that had been dried.

Some pasta is meant to be dried! Besides, most people do not have someone to stay home all day and make fresh pasta for them.

So did you make pasta for her, or just lecture?

Dried pastas hold thick sauces better than fresh, and dried pastas keep for ages. So someone who cannot or does not know how to make fresh pasta would be fine with dried. I have been to Italy and seen dried pasta, do not act so superior.

We have inns and taverns that make meals for travelers, but locals seldom use them... unless already drunk and in the city. My brother and I used to frequent them when we didn't want to show our faces at home at that hour.

It is a restaurant and bar. They are very common in my time, most people go to them very frequently.

No wonder people in your time do not know how to cook.

People still know how to cook. It is just that, rather it being a necessity, it is something you learn to do if you have the time and interest. And nearly everyone can still make enough simple dishes to keep themselves going if they cannot afford or get to a restaurant.

If one cannot afford to go to a restaurant, wouldn't it benefit them to learn?

If that is the case, they probably cannot afford the ingredients for anything but the most basic dishes.

Oh. I suppose that makes sense.

Does it offend your sensibilities that not everyone can cook well?

[assassino]

No. If I had remained in a noble lifestyle, I never would have learned. I doubt Cristina or Lucrezia know how to cook anything.

[Sneeeeeeeeeerk] But what if the castle feeds them dried pasta by mistake?
