[Not long after sunrise, the ship docks in a large harbor on the edge of a great city.

Welcome to Castelia City!



Tall buildings tower over the landscape, and people crowd the streets as they make their way toward their destination. There are seldom any cars in the crowded streets, as many prefer to travel by bike or by foot, or public transit.

It seems the ship has arrived just as the city is waking up to start its day. With a city this big, one might need the whole day just to explore it.

The ship's crew thanks everyone for sailing with them, as it has been their pleasure. They certainly hope their sea-faring friends will enjoy themselves in the city.

I'm afraid not. None of my team would be able to fight with your Pidove on equal footing. [ ALL OF HIS POKEMON ARE BADASS BIRDS, DEAL WITH IT. ]

[He laughs, and makes a dismissive hand gesture. Whatever, dude.]

That is because it is serious. [ The most serious of business, you don't even know.

Hey. Where did your Pidove go? ]

[assassino]

[Skeptical.]

How could it be so serious--

[He realizes the Braviary is gone from his view, though, so he turns to see where it's gone, only to have his eyes land on the spot where his Pidove once was. This is of course now where the Braviary sits, swallowing the last of Pidove's body, a mess of feathers scattered through the grass as a testament to a small but fruitless struggle.

Ezio stares for a moment, thinking that he's perhaps imagining this, and then looks to Altair, blank-faced.]

[aviarius]

[ Altaïr sadly has nothing to say on the matter, he simply sits there eyes widening by only a fraction as the the Braviary launches himself off the ground to return to his previous perch.

That's...

Well then. ]

[assassino]

[Ezio's blank stare continues for a moment, and then he frowns. That was his bird, you know... not that it really matters...]

Well... I see your bird is not as well trained as you would think.

[aviarius]

So it would seem. [ He looks thoughtful for a moment, before pulling out a pokeball. ]

Malik, return. [ BACK INTO THE BALL YOU GO MISTER. Bad bird. ]

[assassino]

I assume you intend to get me a replacement.

[Arms folded.]

[aviarius]

Yes, I do.

[assassino]

Well then, let's go. [He has no idea how you acquire these things.] Go get one.

[aviarius]

Follow me. [ He'll lead them to the nearby Pokecenter, yup. He hasn't the patience to hunt down and catch another Pidove for Ezio. :| ]

[Follows.

But is chatty.]

So do you do this every day? Fight strangers with little animals to see who is best?

[aviarius]

Some do. [ Ezio, why can't you walk in silence? Gosh. ]

I travel.

Where do you travel, then?

[aviarius]

Everywhere. The destination is not important.

[assassino]

That seems rather tedious.

It feels right. [ He's not the idle type.

SUP POKECENTER. Once inside Altaïr heads straight for the computer looking thing off in the right side of the building, does a few random things Ezio probably wont get before a pokeball materializes on the thingy and he picks it up. ]

It is a Pidgey, fairly strong and in excellent health. [ He'll hold it out for Ezio to take. :| Take it. ]

[He's too busy staring at EVERYTHING in wonder to notice Altair offering him something, but after a second, he accepts it.]

Oh... is it also a pigeon?

[aviarius]

[ EZIO YOU ARE A DUMB. ]

It is a Pidgey. [ B| B| B| ]

[HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND POKEMON.]

Pidgey, Pidove -- they both sound like "pigeon."

[aviarius]

[ STOP BEING SO DUMB. ]

They aren't "pigeons".

What are you talking about? The pidove looked exactly like a pigeon.

[aviarius]

They are pokemon. [ OH MY GOD, STOP ARGUING WITH HIM ABOUT THIS. ]

[He claps Altair on the back. Like a bro.]

[ He just scowls a little. This conversation is just REALLY REALLY FRUSTRATING. ]

Your ability to ignore this truth is almost enough to drive a man to drink, Ezio.
