CASTELIA CITY

[Not long after sunrise, the ship docks in a large harbor on the edge of a great city.

Welcome to Castelia City!

Tall buildings tower over the landscape, and people crowd the streets as they make their way toward their destination. There are seldom any cars in the crowded streets, as many prefer to travel by bike or by foot, or public transit.

It seems the ship has arrived just as the city is waking up to start its day. With a city this big, one might need the whole day just to explore it.

The ship's crew thanks everyone for sailing with them, as it has been their pleasure. They certainly hope their sea-faring friends will enjoy themselves in the city.

With so much to explore, what will you do next?]

[ Kate's always preferred dogs to any other animal. Having lived on various bases, it wasn't uncommon for a neighboring family to have a German shepherd or Labrador. Sometimes, they had two dogs. But Kate never had one herself.

And Zorua isn't a dog, so this is just plain weird. She's not sure what she's supposed to do with it.

But Zorua is just going to be a twat and run straight toward Eevee, trying to knock it over. ]

Hey!

[ Alicia looks up right as Eevee leaps onto the table, knocking her coffee over. She stands quickly, trying to wipe it up, not wanting to burn her Eevee or herself. ]

What's wrong?

[ And then she sees the Zorua before catching sight of Kate. ]

Is he yours?

[ Zorua is about to follow the Eevee, but it overhears Kate calling so it seats itself. Maybe a bit begrudgingly.

As Kate approaches, she offers an apologetic look. ]

Sorry about that. [ She bends over to pull Zorua away. ] Yeah, he's... [ A pause. ] I guess he's mine.

[ Alicia had stopped at a nearby picnic table. She's glad some things don't change across worlds.

To her Eevee. ] It's okay.

[ She looks back at Kate. ]

It happens. [ She assumes. ] He was in your hotel room? In a ball?

[ She nods, now trying to set Zorua down and motioning for him to sit. It works on dogs, does it work on Pokemon? :s ]

Then it refused to go back into its ball. It looks like everyone got a Pokemon, too.
