[Not long after sunrise, the ship docks in a large harbor on the edge of a great city.

Welcome to Castelia City!



Tall buildings tower over the landscape, and people crowd the streets as they make their way toward their destination. There are seldom any cars in the crowded streets, as many prefer to travel by bike or by foot, or public transit.

It seems the ship has arrived just as the city is waking up to start its day. With a city this big, one might need the whole day just to explore it.

The ship's crew thanks everyone for sailing with them, as it has been their pleasure. They certainly hope their sea-faring friends will enjoy themselves in the city.

[The Bagon doesn't seem willingly to be left behind so easily, so it follows Toothless. Though now he appears to be far more interested in the dragon's wings, considering it was hopping up and down trying to reach it because oh my god you can fly.

As for Rookie, he just eyes the dragon carefully as well. Looking near ready to defend himself in case it attacks, not that it'd really do much good if this thing breathes fire.]

[Alas, the Bagon can't quite seem to get them; it's just a bit too short. The Salamence's attention however is now completely on Rookie.

Once he gets close enough, he leans forward and sniffs at Rookie's hair.]

Sala...

[Yeah, that's... not going to stop the Bagon from continuing. It's pretty determinded.

Rookie stays still. Though he's making a point to seem far more confident than he probably is when there's a really tall dragon standing in front of him.]

Are you lost? [Guessing it has an owner, since it seems friendly?]

[Hmm, Rookie doesn't know who he is, does he? This is frustrating; the dragon-type would make a point to take off the man's helmet, but he wasn't wearing it. So he'd settle for the next best thing.

Licking his face.]

[Well, there's really only a few conclusions Rookie could come to in response to that. Either this dragon really was that friendly, or it was someone he knew. And seeing as he was instantly reminded of the Nightfury, and having not run into the human version of him yet, it wasn't very long before he was thoughtfully regarding the Salamence in front of him as he wiped away the lizard drool.]

... Toothless?

[He tries to give a gummy smile, except it isn't so gummy. Wow, non-retractable teeth are weird.]

[Yeah, just really intimidating because that is a lot of teeth. But Rookie gives a smile back as he patted the side of Toothless' neck.]

So you got turned into one of these things, huh? At least you still sort of look like a dragon.

Salamence.

[Okay seriously what is his voicebox doing. Toothless tries really hard to make a sound a bit closer to his natural sounds, except it just comes out like a weird growl.

His life.]

[D'aw, it's okay, bro. He's just going to give Toothless one more small pat before glancing down towards the Bagon. Who had apparently decided to make itself comfortable and just stare up at the Salamence, before it was trying to mimic the sound as well.]

[Toothless looks down at the little pokémon in confusion. Whatchu doin', bro?]

[And it looks back up, trying to repeat the noise again. Though it attempts to put a more fierce spin on it by scrunching it's nose. Which... actually doesn't really help make it look any less cute, but at least it's trying.

Rook just continues to stand there and watch, chuckling lightly with a shake of his head.]

[Toothless tilts his head a little bit, then lowers his head to the Bagon's level before giving a savage growl.
