[Not long after sunrise, the ship docks in a large harbor on the edge of a great city.

Welcome to Castelia City!



Tall buildings tower over the landscape, and people crowd the streets as they make their way toward their destination. There are seldom any cars in the crowded streets, as many prefer to travel by bike or by foot, or public transit.

It seems the ship has arrived just as the city is waking up to start its day. With a city this big, one might need the whole day just to explore it.

The ship's crew thanks everyone for sailing with them, as it has been their pleasure. They certainly hope their sea-faring friends will enjoy themselves in the city.

Bulbasaur!

[Lillipup seems to be having the time of its life chasing Spoink around. How does it get that much energy?]

[She reaches out and pats Deltasaur on the head before looking up at York] Is that all he can say?

[Spoink's having just as much fun, he starts to bounce even higher] Spoiiiink!

That and variations. It's definitely him, though. [Delta nuzzles Ed's hand and then York's leg. Yep, definitely himself.]

--Uh, make sure your Spoink doesn't fall into the fountain, by the way.

[She giggles, petting Delta more as she looks around for her Spoink... who has managed to bounce into and (just barely) out of the fountain... She smiles up at York]

York, another one of Edward's friends came to Disa-Disa!

Oh yeah? Somehow I'm not surprised, after we found you in Paris. [He ruffles her hair playfully.]

Anybody I'd know?

[She flails, rolling out of the way and popping up behind the bench. She rests her arms on the top and her chin on her arms, smiling cheerfully down at York. It's not her usual giant haphazard grin. This smile is smaller, more genuine]

Not like that. One of Edward's friends from home! Ein. He's a dog, but Disa-Disa made him human when we came here.

Oh! Ha, he's lucky he didn't get turned into one of these guys, then. [Lillipup barks happily.]

So you had a pet back home?

[She giggles, shaking her head]

Ein's not Ed's pet. Ein's Ed's friend! [She frowns slightly. Somehow she feels like there should be more to that description... but she's drawing a complete blank. Oh well. She shakes her head and moves on.]
