[Not long after sunrise, the ship docks in a large harbor on the edge of a great city.

Welcome to Castelia City!



Tall buildings tower over the landscape, and people crowd the streets as they make their way toward their destination. There are seldom any cars in the crowded streets, as many prefer to travel by bike or by foot, or public transit.

It seems the ship has arrived just as the city is waking up to start its day. With a city this big, one might need the whole day just to explore it.

The ship's crew thanks everyone for sailing with them, as it has been their pleasure. They certainly hope their sea-faring friends will enjoy themselves in the city.

Well, no. I know there are a few more back at the castle, but...

[ he pauses; this chick is probably a native of whereverthisis and will probably have bo idea that he's talking about... ]

[Neji, not expecting the headbutt, falls back onto his haunches and shakes his head. Then goes right back to trying to pounce on him like it didn't even phase him.]

...Do you mean the Relic Castle? But I-I thought no one lived there...

[ dro is going to sit, and gently fend him off with one paw. ]

...No. Unless Paradisa has some nickname we don't know about. And people definitely live there.

[No fair >| He's just gonna try it from different angles now.]

...Paradisa? I... [It does sound familiar in a weird sort of way. She knows much about Unova and its Pokemon, but she's certain she's never come across anything with that name.]

...I don't think I've ever heard of such a place.

[ o u. dro is doing to arcanine equivalent of smiling as he defends himself, still with one paw. ]

Right... I guess you wouldn't have. [ this is a little weird. he has no idea if she's a fabrication of the castle or not. but then he pauses, thinking of something. ] Have you ever heard of Libet?

[Neji huffs and sits down, sizing up Dro. He's a smart puppy pokemon, he can figure out how to finally one up an arcanine.

Hinata taps her fingers against her lips as she thinks. Libet? She didn't go :( She's never heard of it, yet... Somehow a hand-drawn map comes to mind.]

No...I don't think I have. Is there... Should I?

jet frownshrugs. ]

Maybe, maybe not. You mentioned a Relic Castle that's been abandoned, right?

[Neji stares back, thinking. He gets up and walks a little bit away.]

Yes... I did? [confused. she doesn't quite get where this is going.]

[ dro cocks his head at him. what are you doing, little one?

jet knows this is the longest of longshots, but he has to try. ]

Let's just say Libet's got a few things in common there. Do you guys know who lived there?

[He sits back down, a little off to the side and a bit further away. Then moves to pounce again.]

Yes... It's the ruins of the city that one of the Twin Heroes and his dragon built a couple of millenia ago. It was once the heart of civilization here in Unova.

[ dro huffs in amusement, and lets himself take the hit. are you proud? ]

...Right. I guess I was wrong.

[Better believe he's proud! He's going to be smug over here, thankyouverymuch.]

Oh... Is your Libet have a different story?

Yeah... kind of a long one. It used to be a castle like Paradisa, until everyone died.

[ a beat. ]

But I guess you're not really interested in that.

That's...rather sad. And no, I...I don't mind hearing about it if you want to talk about it.

[ a shrug.. and he looks at her curiously ]

I can't say I want to talk about it... I was just curious, to see if you knew about it. But hey, you two done over there?

[ this to the pokemon, with a grin. ]

Um, all right. I am sorry I didn't know about it.

[Neji is totally done. He set out what he accomplished to do, and he is so proud of himself. Hinata can only smile and shake her head.]

Nah, it's fine, on both counts. I think Dro enjoyed himself.

[ still sitting there all regal and stuff. ]

He must have a lot of patience to put up with mine... Most get tired after a little while.

[It's partly her fault; she doesn't battle him or usually let him play around with other Pokemon.]

Patience is Dro's middle name. Where does he get all that energy from, though?

I-I'm not too sure. I wish I knew though. Or that he had a little more patience, like yours.
