In case anyone was wondering... I did make back-ups of all the information I'd gathered before, just in case the castle decided to play shenanigans. For all the new people who are going to be arriving, I'm going to copy my old report into this one, but I'd like to update it beforehand.

Which is where all of you come in. I'm trying to gather information on changes that have happened - between the journals, and the fact that some people are apparently coming back memories intact now.

Also, I was out of commission on the expedition that led to the other castle ruins, but I've been trying to pick up what I can out of the journals. There's that bizarre letter for one, but did I miss anything else important?

None whatsoever. Crazy, huh?

I'm starting to wonder if anyone ever really leaves.

No, I left. It took me a while to piece my memories all together, but I am absolutely certain that I left. Between the time that I left Paradisa and the time that I arrived back, half a year of my life had elapsed. I remember things that I couldn't possibly have known during my previous stay; events, dates, new faces.

Although your argument is compelling - if not something I ever really want to think about - Paradisa was kind enough to provide me with 6 months worth of false memories during the most recent world change. For a while there even I was thinking 'what if I have been in Paris all this time?'

I don't really want to think about it either, but it never really crossed my mind until you bunch started showing up remembering the place.

It's hard to understand what the place could possibly gain from this.

The castle grants wishes [He's shrugging as he says this, that is just how unconvinced he is by his own theory. Paradisa just wants to fuck their shit up, that's all.]

Maybe you'd be better off asking the people who remember those who have come back if they've ever wished for their return.

It'd be a little sad if there were some people who no one wished would come back.

[Dick thinks it's okay to miss people and wish that yeah certain people were with him when he needed a friend or advise or whatever, but never to wish them back here. No way.]

That's not what I mean. We all came back at around about the same time, right? Just before Christmas. What if there's a correlation between the last time people wished for their friends to return and the time it actually took for them to start showing up. Maybe they all wished for the same thing on the same day, or even in the same place.

That'd be a little terrifying. But I suppose we could ask.

It's just an idea. Of course, it could just be the castle screwing with us. [Like there was ever any doubt.]
