 [It starts out with a loud clatter as Conan, suddenly aware of himself for the first time in a week, attempts to scramble to his feet.  He trips over the skirt of the long frilly (and pink) gown he had somehow found himself in, and knocks over a table set for tea.   He makes an outraged sound as he dives back to the ground and then climbs back to his feet.  Cautiously.  

Where was he?  He didn't recognize this room.  And why were there so many dolls?

He hastily starts pulling off the dress, thankful that his normal clothes seemed to be underneath it, as he toes the journal closer and starts speaking into it.]

 I'm a little confused.  Can anyone give me the date?

[loss end.  Conan is no longer a doll.  Unfortunately he's spent the last week being one of Lucrezia's dolls and has no clue where he is right now.]

I was wearing this when I woke up a few minutes ago.

[ If one could hear the gears moving in her head as she turns to survey the ruined tea party, and then back to Conan. ]

Sancia?

[He already suspected that he had been the victim of a loss. It was the details he needed to figure out.]

[ Yep, that is the dress she chose for her Sancia. ]

Sancia of Naples, the illegitimate daughter of King Ferrante, soon betrothed to my little brother.

So you were-- I thought you were a lady, and so--

I was turned into a doll by the castle and you dressed me up as a girl. And used me for tea parties, from the set-up I saw.

[He says this in a completely calm and level tone.]

[ She isn't sure if she is meant to apologize or not. Gioffre wouldn't have minded but Juan certainly would. Men are so strange. ]

That is the likely explanation. Has the castle prove--capable of such things?

Not this exactly. But I've heard of similar incidents.

[He sighs. Conan was no stranger to crossdressing. More than once he'd disguised himself as a girl to take her place in a dangerous situation. But somehow this seemed more embarrassing. He could only hope Ran and Haibara never sound out.]

[heloise]

[ She nods slowly, then gets back on her feet to find the doll she named Cesare, in his cotton shirt and black vest and leather pants. ]
