 [If anyone has happened to run into Conan over the last few days they might have noticed that he's been a little sluggish in his responses.    That his voice has been hoarse and that he seems to be sneezing a lot.  Not that anyone has had much chance to talk to him with all the running around he's been doing this week.

What is a cold compared to all the things there were to investigate here?  

Whatever this illness was, Conan had been determined to ignore it.  With the result that this wasn't just a cold anymore.  

It is the dizziness and coughing that at last force Conan to accept that he needs to rest.  He reaches out for the journal and dictates into it in a  hoarse and stuffed up voice.]

I think I'm a little sick.  If anyone needs me I'm going to be in my room.

It can, but I should be okay.

I won't force you to accept help, of course, but I hope you will reconsider. There is no need to suffer through this without assistance.

[modernholmes]

[He sighs and rubs at his forehead. The fever was making it hard to think.]

If you insist.

[guiding]

Would you tell me your room number, and I'll be there shortly?

[modernholmes]

Satis tower, 1801.

[guiding]

[And very shortly, there is a knock on the door.]

[modernholmes]

[And a bleary eyed child will slowly open it.]

[guiding]

[She bends to look him in the face, golden eyes meeting blue, as she reaches out to feel his forehead.]

It's nice to meet you properly.

[modernholmes]

[He seems to be having a little trouble focusing on her, which is easily explained by the warmth of his forehead.]

Mmm, me too. My name is Conan Edogawa.

[guiding]

[She just starts to guide him back inside and towards his bed.]

And I am Lilith Nightroad.

[modernholmes]

[And he goes without much prompting.]

Nice to meet you, Dr. Nightroad.

[guiding]

You can just call me Lilith, Conan.

[She gets him all tucked up, and then takes a bottle of medicine out of her bag.]

How long have you been feeling like this?

[modernholmes]

I got sick a few days ago, but it hasn't been bad until today.

[guiding]

[She won't chide him by telling him he should have rested then, for there is no changing it now. Instead, she'll just measure out a dose of this medicine and hold it out to him.]

Poor boy, being ill is never pleasant.

[modernholmes]

[...Conan hated this already. But he had to keep the act up.>/i>]

I don't like it. But I just have to wait through it, right?

[guiding]

It should pass in a few days, yes. But you must take care of yourself for that time, or it will only get worse.
