[Maladict is distinctly unimpressed with the Peeps. She wasn't a fan of sweet things, and finding them floating in her coffee had not put her in a good mood. It had ruined her morning routine and as such, had thrown her whole day off. She's wandering through the hallways now, taking random pot shots at the horrid little creatures with her horsebow.

Sorry if anyone ends up getting an arrow through their wall. Casualty of war, and all that. She pauses long enough to open her journal, looking for people's responses to this recent infestation, before dictating]

When these 'Peep' things were described to me, it wasn't mentioned they were living things. Only that you could put them in the magical cooking box and make them joust.

The fact they're sentient and move in swarms was a very important part of miss out. [SHE'S TALKING TO YOU MARK]

But that-- It just seems a little extreme. Especially since vampires need that to survive..

Yes, well. People like to survive more than they want to let vampires survive.

Even still... It just doesn't seem right. Being different is no reason to hunt someone down like that..

Try telling that to the humans. They have issues with all the races on the Disc.

That does seem like a good way to live... Even if it happens all too often on most worlds.

It doesn't make it anymore right, though... People do many things they shouldn't.

Then I-I guess that puts you one step ahead of most everyone else? By not being surprised, that is.

I'm used to being one step ahead of everyone else anyway.

That happens often, then? It must be nice at times.

That's still quite a bit...well, when you stop and think about it. Um, is it more a Vampire thing, then? Since...I-I don't think it happens with humans too much.
