[She's staring at the two journals. Comparing the one to the other and not really understanding what the big deal is. The Watcher Diaries are supposed to be important and the word "Legacy" gets tossed around a lot with them. She just never got it. If something was important to a Slayer, they'd get told about it. Stick this piece of wood here. Done. This whole learn about your prey thing, well, it turns out all that does is make Faith sympathize with a few of them. Oh, and she also slept with... is sleeping with one of them. Yeah, learning about her prey wasn't exactly working out for her.]

Yeah... I totally missed something. [Someone wasn't paying much attention when all of a sudden there were two journals on the bar where she, sort of, just leaves it lying around.]

Is it a big deal that I've got two of these journal things now? 'Cuz, I'm not really into the research gig and I already did all the reading I felt like doing. [Spoiler Alert: She skimmed until she saw her name most of the time.]

So, does this mean that the new people that show up just get a new book? I mean, I can't see this place being super nice about sharing the shit it's been doing all these years. Kinda seems like it's sweepin' it all under the rug.

Not that anyone here seems to really care when things happen. [She judges all of you.] Few weeks go by and you just bitch about something else.

[When his arm raises, she misses, but uses her free hand to grip to his forearm, using her weight again to press him back toward a wall.]

[And against the wall he goes, with a soft 'oof'. What is it with him and walls?]

[It might be Faith liking him against walls, but details. She just smirks at him. Unsure of what to do now that she's got him there.]

[Sob. His life. He just clears his throat, somewhat awkwardly, because there is a Hawke now and things are more complicated]

[She exhales, smirking and taking a step back. She came here to spar and, sure - that was a nice position, but it doesn't serve her purpose.]

What sort of weapons do you use back home?

[He breathes a little easier, now she's stepped back]

Greatswords, mostly, sometimes battleaxes, or mauls. Large, two handed weapons.

Next time let's use those.

[He lets out a low chuckle]

[They'll go back to sparring, trading blows, doing their dance -- etc. Then eventually, Faith'll get bored or she'll feel like she's a bit tired - though she's not really that tired.]

Yeah, next time definitely with those weapons. Probably not swords, those'll probably count toward the whole knife thing.

And I doubt it would do you any good to be cleaved in two.

Probably not. [She moves to sit on the ground and stretch out any kinks in her muscles.]

What all do you do all day, anyway?
