To be honest? I'm sort of over the whole is the castle alive or not thing. It's still going to be weird and creepy regardless.

For some people, it is a big deal. They're not used to all the weird.

Yeah, but it's not like it doesn't take them a week to figure out 'oh this isn't so bad' and just move onto wishing up things and getting on with their new castle lives.

Yeah, maybe. But there's still a level of expectation that comes with being normal.

We're all in a magic castle. Normal is far from normal.

[takes a deep breath]

Okay. I've got a lot of weird where I come from. It's pretty much like Dr. Frankenstein went high tech and let all his creations loose on the world, but it's still science. It's not magic.

But then I get dumped here, and it's all magic, all the time, and vampires and all other kinds of whack are real and sometimes -- I forget that there shouldn't be a limit on my expectations. I get used to things as they are, and then the castle throws me another curve ball.

That's the point though. The castle wants us on edge, it wants reactions -- hell, there are even people here that just try to get reactions out of people.

I'm just tired of it. It doesn't have to be everyone's opinion, Max and I understand your perspective.

I just, [She pauses.] I'm here. I want to be here. I can't sit around and worry about the curve balls. This is it. This is my normal now and I'm fine with that.

I'm sorry, I just -- I'm tired of this place being something to figure out or get used to. No one's home is without problems. They're just different problems.

I don't think I'm well-adjusted, I think I'm just done.
