[dictated. he's a little quiet, but that might be because he sounds like he's in a library or something--otherwise sounding perfectly smarmy and collected as usual.]
Here's something I wonder.
Let's say that someone finally finds that fabled "way out of Paradisa". They're able to share this with the rest of the residents without being immediately magicked away or vanishing under mysterious circumstances. But it's discovered in such a way that makes a certain catch known--it's all or nothing. Everyone goes back to their own realities, or everyone stays right where they are.
Who would rather leave, knowing that many here have nothing but death or misery to return to? Who would rather refuse, knowing that some have been trying to return to their lives and loved ones for years?
[but that's awfully personal. that's heavy. let's take it back a step.]
Though I know questions of morality are awfully open-ended. This is just thinking. What I'm really curious about is this: if the residents here, now, were presented with such an option, what do you think would happen? How would the situation be handled--if it's really handled at all?

As much as I wish to go home, I'd be...unwilling to sacrifice the lives of others in order to do so. So I would choose to stay here and hope to find another way, one that lets people to choose to stay here or go home as they wish.
[...]
I don't know how others would handle the situation though. I'd hope others would feel the same way, but...it's very hard to gauge people's desires.
dictated;
Yes, that's a very self-sacrificial idea... Not to mention almost absurdly idealistic. Would you be willing to stop someone who didn't feel the same?

Bravo...Somebody finally asks the question that everybody else seems afraid to ask.
Voice
Them being afraid to ask implies that they've thought of it at all to begin with--and I sincerely doubt that the possibility of such a thing has crossed that many minds.
[not that he's calling everyone stupid or anything. ...no yeah okay he totally is.]

[because even on the scale of his own Everyone From Home microcosm ... Katniss would want to stay to save Rue, he'd want to go home to save his own family ... and how do you make that choice? save a life that's somehow already supposed to be dead, or risk the fact that there might be more deaths to go back to, not knowing? never mind what Peeta and Haymitch and Finnick and Cinna and Rue herself would choose. okay and maybe Clove too. whatever. his decision rests: people are stupid, and no one would be able to decide]

But this is the group of residents that left a man to slowly drive himself mad for seven months because they couldn't decide what to do with him... so it's not as though your speculation is without reason or backing.

...I'd expect quite a lot of arguing, really. I think that's how much situations here are handled, after all.
