[ If anybody enters the kitchen today, they'll find a tiny girl sitting on top of a counter and swinging her legs. She has some cookies next to her, but she's working at them pretty slowly. Not like a kid would.

She's a little preoccupied by something that's bothered her lately. After a few minutes, she makes a few filters. ]

[ She leaves her journal open, waiting for any replies...

After a few minutes and polishing off the last cookie, she jumps off the counter and heads to the fridge.

What she finds leave her flabbergasted.... so she wishes up a normal piece of paper, scrawls down a note, and leaves it in the fridge. ]

Man, that's just sad.

[he will then proceed to take out the cupcake and cut off the bits around the bite mark, and cram the rest of the whole thing in his mouth. LIKE A BOSS]

Yeah, as a matter of fact I did. Lost about a month's worth of memories, specific to about six months ago, if my math's right.

Think we get another loss when we come back like this? On top of what we've lost already, I mean.

I've seen not one, but two filters made to people who lost memories, and my loss is supposed to be an ability of mine.

Some people I've spoken to about this seem to be on the same line of thinking. Real question is why. Though we're not likely to get any answers, unless we look for 'em in ourselves.

I've lost the memories of a handful of people I'm supposed to know back home. Wouldn't even know it had one of them not come here several months ago.

Nobody from my world has even shown up here. I'm probably never going to find out if I lost a memory, or who it's supposed to be.

In a way, I envy you for that. It's maddening, knowing that there're things I've forgotten that I'll never get back.

It's not any easier knowing these memories are gone and not knowing what they are.

Fair point. I suppose it's easy enough to figure out if it's a memory or something else, if you're still able to do all that you could back home.

Since I can see all of those damned "People who forgot people" filters, I'd say it's a safe bet I lost memories. I just don't know what memories.

I don't know. One of my losses before was Ino; you don't get those people back without a major loss shift, and those don't have any consistent occurrence, or any frequency at all. How much does it bother you?
