[Katara has never had issue with the beds in Paradisa. They were warm, comfortable, but as snug and content as she is in the blankets, she can sense that there’s something maybe just a little off. There’s pressure against her arm and side - something is cuddling her.

Momo isn’t in Paradisa. So what in the world —

She shifts just a little, groggily opening her eyes and looking to the side.

Oh. It was Joshua.

Joshua was cuddling her. Of course.]

[Katara flings herself back, knocking her journal off of the bedside table — and this is where it begins transmitting. She screams.]

What are you doing in my room? What are you doing in my bed? [Her voice just gets shriller and shriller.] Out, out, out, out, out!

[ And while anyone listening might expect just as loud of a reaction (After all this is a rather commonplace scenario here, isn't it?) from whoever is invading the poor girl's bed, instead there's just a soft grunt of irritation. He's half-asleep and not placing the voice, but the shriek sure sounds familiar. He mutters groggily, ]

Huh, Langley...?

Joshua?!

[Another shuffling sound, and the sound abruptly stops as Katara scoops the journal off the floor.]

[And doop doop Katara will just warn Joshua that someone is coming to try to open the door.]

[ Yeah he's really invested in finding out how this'll go. One can tell by the fact that he's not even looking. ]

[He'll show up about fifteen minutes later, with that clothes from last night kind of look. He knocks once before trying to open the door, which only opens a crack before it seems to get halted]

Yo, Ice Princess~! Do you got something in front of the door?

[waterbends]

Nope.

[She gives a long-suffering sigh.]

I guess it's not opening from the outside, then, either.

Have you tried destroying the door?

[ Speaking a bit more loudly so this dude can hear. ]

You can probably see the dent from the outside if you paid any attention... Yes, we did. Both of us.

I'd suggest trying to burn it, but I've already set my room on fire once.. not really looking to do it again. Thanks for trying, though.

[Katara affects the most pitiful voice ever.]

Wave at me through the crack in the door? I probably won't get to see anyone else for an entire week.

Go get someone stronger. Try Clark Kent. Or Father Nightroad.

[Ignoring Joshua, cause he doesn't know Clark and Father Nightroad sounds like a religious figure - nooo thank you. Plus hey if it's castle that wouldn't do any good right? But for Katara, he'll smile and give a grin]

I don't blame you for wanting to remember my beautiful face, but don't be so glum, Ice Princess! It's only a week and you got the journals! I'll talk to you through there!

[waterbends]

[Mission failed. She was hoping to get him close enough to the crack in the door to flick the hell out of him for even thinking that Joshua might be in her room for any reason that wasn't totally innocent.]

Yeaaah, I'll survive.

[ Don't worry, Katara, he's on it. Because a moment later, Joshua's right behind her and reaching over her shoulder to shove the door the rest of the way closed. ]
