[ Waking up next to Clark is nothing new, of course, but waking up not wearing the nightgown she went to sleep in is a bit disorientating.  It takes a moment for this to register, of course, as she rolls over and reaches over to the nightstand, accidentally knocking her journal open in the process.  Her hand moves back to rub at her eyes as she struggles to focus, and that's when the bracers catch her attention. ]

[ She shoves the blankets down and stares at the peasant blouse held tightly against her by a leather vest.  She kicks off the end of the blankets as well and stares at the tall boots and breeches, before glancing over, talking to Clark as she does so: ]

Please don't tell me we're back to sailing the seven seas again.  My swashbuckling skills?  Haven't really improved since the last ti--

[And she stops, because Clark's back is to her, so that all she gets to look at his sudden intense mane of hair.

[For the most part, Clark is a lighter sleeper than Lois, but today is not one of those days. When Lois is fussing around he just continues to sleep, until, of course, his brain registers the alarm in her voice.

So he opens his eyes and rolls over to look at her...

And he sees what she's wearing.]

[And then he's fully aware that he's in more than just his boxers but not exactly sure of what. Pants, obviously, and some sort of puffy-sleeved tunic overtop, with a belt and a heavy sash of gold filigree plates. Since when has he ever been a jewelry man, beyond his wedding ring?

Since Paradisa decided so, apparently.

He shoves back the covers entirely. He's wearing knee-high boots, too. But if it's just clothes, he can stay calm.]

I'd say Paradisa doesn't repeat things, but after the Pokémon world, I'd say maybe it is pirates again.


[He hasn't even noticed his hair, okay.]

[ It's ok, she can't notice much of anything but. ]

[Last time he was under a castle effect that made him look funny, it was that Day of the Dead face paint he couldn't take off. The other time, it was that time he was a woman. Given that he is definitely still a man, it can't be that.

He touches his face, and when he feels nothing, he goes to the mirror.]

[He looks at her, a touch unimpressed -- he loves you but come on. A chia pet? Horrifying. He disappears into the bathroom.]
