 Okay, seriously now.  What is up with getting kidnapped to all these creepy castles?  What happened to the villain of the week having a little originality?  Why not a hotel?  Or you know, just skipping over the whole kidnapping part to start with?

...At least this castle isn't glowing.  And I don't see any Packers memorabilia, so it can't be one of Vlad's.

[He struggles, trying to find something to say. But he can't get any denials past his lips. At last he can only blurt out a weak statement.]

most people dont remember being here after the castle sends them away

[Danny has no idea how to respond to any of that, so he just jumps to the part that was his biggest concern.]

and not much really besides the whole ghost thing
we didnt hang out we just talked a few times

No. Not really. How many people here know? How many of them are going to send me off for lots and lots of painful experiments when they find out I'm here?

nobodys going to do experiments on you!
or at least not painful ones

What about tearing me apart molecule by molecule? Or calling in the government ghosthunting goons? That's what people do when they find out a ghost is hanging around.

to be honest i dont see what the big deal is though 0_0
i mean i was a ghost once myself
and my primary occupation in my own world is in a sense to help ghosts
so unless you turn out to be a huge asshole or something you can probably trust me!

[He relaxes. Sometimes he thought it was a little depressing that he found it easier to trust in ghosts than in humans.]

And its kind of a big deal because I'd really like to avoid being dissected.

well im not a ghost now i came back to life
but i was for a long time
anyway like i said nobody is going to dissect you
the most anybody will probably do is shove a pke meter at your face but thats harmless
theres a lot stranger things running around this castle than a half ghost guy
no offense but i doubt most people will even find it all that interesting!

...How does that work? I mean, I'm half-ghost. But I don't think I ever died all the way.

its a long story and kind of complicated
suffice to say i died but was playing a game that affords its players several opportunities for resurrection
a number of my friends died and were resurrected in a similar way
actually one of them

[... A pause, and then there's the sound of her smacking her forehead.]

i cant believe i forgot about this
but my moirail sollux is kind of half ghost himself
when he was in paradisa he was alive thats why it slipped my think pan
but back in our own world he got killed a few times and then somehow managed to half resurrect himself
