#007 The Roaring Twenties

[It's that time of the month again! The Host Club is once more opening its doors for business, this time with a couple of new additions and a couple of losses... The ballroom has been completely transformed into a 1920s style speakeasy.

A few hosts are serving behind the bar, namely Allen, Maladict and Cole, all of them dressed in this bartender outfit. The rest of the hosts are dotted around the room dressed in this attractive outfit, complete with the hat. There are two notable exceptions to this - one of which is Haruhi, who is dressed in a flapper dress, and Tamaki who is dressed in a white suit.

There are tables for playing poker, chips provided, as well as three American Pool tables to have a go on. By the door, there are racks of dresses and suits in 1920s style, in case any of the guests wish to take part in the theme themselves - manning the racks is Delta, instructed to persuade the guests to take part and compliment them on their new look.

Um, yes, because the cliff wasn't tall enough to, kill me. I was able to, commune with some animals, so I could get back to my hive. Once some ramps, were put in, so I could use my four wheeled device, I was okay.

Yes, I know, because I used to FLARP with Vriska. And, um, she liked you very much.

So I've heard. It seems several of your group know of your predecessors, in fact. I have also met with the descendent of my kismesis, such that he is.

And you claim to have "FLARPed" as well; did you also choose to masquerade as your ancestor?

Um, I don't really know, much about my ancestor, except that I have one, I guess. But, I did have fun, trying to be like, Pupa Pan.

Pupa Pan? Who is that?

He is from stories, with special stardust, and he flies. And he comes and takes young trolls away, to a special paradise planet just for them, with adventures. I've always, wanted to fly, very badly.

The stories must have originated after my time; the plot does not sound remotely familiar.

But flying -- I can certainly relate to such a dream.

[Though her "dream" has more to do with kidnapping a giant dragon lusus than it does actually flying...]

Oh, well, maybe I could tell you them, sometime. If, uh, you wanted to hear them. Because, as stories, they are very exciting, and fun.

You want to fly, too? That's, I wouldn't have expected that, because I think Vriska said once, that you ... had something to do, with the sea.

I suppose I could do worse than spend my time here listening to stories. Perhaps in exchange I could grant you some tales of my own.

And yes, as a gamblignant I do have close ties to the sea, but recent events have lead me to consider a new set of goals, flying among them.

I think I would like that, because I've heard some things about you, but probably not, most things. And stories are always, fun to listen too.

It's a good goal, I think. And, um, I hope you succeed someday.
