#007 The Roaring Twenties

[It's that time of the month again! The Host Club is once more opening its doors for business, this time with a couple of new additions and a couple of losses... The ballroom has been completely transformed into a 1920s style speakeasy.

A few hosts are serving behind the bar, namely Allen, Maladict and Cole, all of them dressed in this bartender outfit. The rest of the hosts are dotted around the room dressed in this attractive outfit, complete with the hat. There are two notable exceptions to this - one of which is Haruhi, who is dressed in a flapper dress, and Tamaki who is dressed in a white suit.

There are tables for playing poker, chips provided, as well as three American Pool tables to have a go on. By the door, there are racks of dresses and suits in 1920s style, in case any of the guests wish to take part in the theme themselves - manning the racks is Delta, instructed to persuade the guests to take part and compliment them on their new look.

Come on and all and enjoy the club!]

[A certain pir8 with a gambling addiction has found her way here. She may have no idea what's going on, but she sure can recognize a gambling game when she sees one. She sits down at a poker table, waiting for a worthy opponent.

[Tomoe wandered into the ballroom out of sheer curiosity. There seemed to be something going on and... well... it wasn't as though she had much else to do for the time being.]

[She pauses just inside the doors, peering at the waiting clothing and even stepping close enough to touch the edge of a dress. Glancing around it doesn't take a brain surgeon to put two and two together, but she has no plans of parting with her kimono.]

[She looks up when she catches sight of someone.]

[Cue a dude who looks like he should own a host club. Vaguely overhearing something about 'great tea,' but not any other particulars, he strolls on in, and takes several seconds to gather what is going on here.]

[Shiki walks in, and, as so often happens in the Host Club, her eyes light up. The (American) Twenties! Such an amazing time for fashion, and style, and...!!

Yeah. She's pretty excited to be here. Picture the Owen Wilson character from Midnight in Paris once he finally realizes what's going on, and that's her... except as a fifteen year old Japanese girl.

So she's just kind of staring around at everything, trying to take it all in. She's always wanted to visit the Twenties, after all!]

((ooc: So, um, I'm about to go on hiatus, but this looks like an awesome Host Club even though I'm already late to it as it is, so I figured that I'd leave this comment here as a placeholder, and if you're interested in any kind of threading here, you can comment and I'll come back to it when I get back in a couple of weeks. Obviously, I know that'll mean a ton of backtagging, but I thought casual funsies with Shiki at the Host Club in the Twenties could be fun~))

[Dairine, thanks to a certain loss, has been stuck in her visiting-planetary-royalty dress (tiara included) and transported to the lobby. After a couple of tries, she’s figured out that she can’t transit back to her room. Or anywhere else for that matter.

Still, Dairine has no intention on staying and making a public spectacle of herself. Unfortunately, the lobby is so very close to the ballroom. Do you notice the princess as she walks past your door? (You know you want to Tamaki.)]
