Also... why would a little girl ever want to play with this 'Barbie' doll? It is a bit... creepy. Not to mention wholly unrealistic.

[ The stylist falls quiet for a moment before answering. There are not many things Cinna desires, and he is far from materialistic. ]

Surprise me, Ashura. [ The bathroom modifies itself as it did before, comfortable salon chair included. ]

His hair is the exception

<sub>[He blinked, not expecting that, but he nodded, trying to think of what could surprise Cinna. A ride on Svitana? A piece of jewelry? Though, the other did not seem to wear much of it. And he had no hair to speak of, not really. Hmmm... this would be a challenge, though Svitana was his usual fall back for 'surprises'.

[ Cinna was quite a challenge to surprise. Make the surprise unique enough, and the chances of him liking it are very high. He smirks as he sections off the king's hair, going to work with his usual routine. ]

I like challenges as much as I like giving them. I don't expect it anytime soon, either, so no rush.

Haha, so I have plenty of time to try and give you the best of surprises.

_{[He smirks, closing his eyes and sighing as Cinna works his magic.]}

You do. I promise my expectations are not too high.

[ And a short timeskip later, he is sitting Ashura up to section off his hair once more. He combs each section through to make sure it is free of tangles and knots before taking up his cutting scissors. Within minutes, the rest of the excess hair is cut and Ashura's hair is back to it's normal length. ]

Would you like me to braid it once more?

Oh! Yes please, that would be lovely. If the Castle ever holds some sort of ball I call first rights to you and your hair dressing skills for the occasion.

[periculis]

A braid it shall be.

[ Cinna laughs softly, beginning to section off Ashura's hair this time. ] Unfortunately, first rights for occasions like that already belong to someone, but it will not take me long to get her ready. I could attend to the both of you.

Oh, I suppose I can share then. Who is my rival in your hair attentions?

[periculis]

[ He clips a set of sections to the side as he begins one of two French braids. ]

Her name is Katniss. She is a dear friend of mine from Panem, like me.

Oh? I knew some others from your world were here, but I am glad someone dear to you has managed to come.

[periculis]

Yes, there are quite a few of us here. [ He stops the braid at the nape of Ashura's neck, tying it off before going to the other section of hair to start the second braid. ] We have only known each other for about a year or so, but we are very close.

Friendships sometimes do not need much time to be strong. Circumstances aid this too.

[periculis]

I agree wholeheartedly.

[ Now that he's done with the other side, he combines both sections and continues with one combined braid. ]

How did you learn to be so good with hair?

[periculis]

Watching others, practicing with wigs, and quite a bit of reading.

Heh, I suppose I should have seen that answer coming. Well, it all paid off. You do very good work.

[periculis]

Thank you. [ He falls silent as he finishes up the last part of the braid and ties it off, setting it over Ashura's shouder as he turns the chair around for the man to face the mirror. ] I decided to change it up just a bit this time.

It looks wonderful, Cinna. If only I had you in my world. You would make a healthy living as the Royal Hair Dresser.
