[Outside the castle, any passing on-lookers will be treated to an interesting sight this morning. A young boy clad wearing a ridiulous yellow cape is standing outside and staring up at the sky with a frown. He seems to be concentrating hard on something, and when that doesn't work he'll start hopping up and curse every time his feet touch the ground.

Kid Apollo can't fly, and he's not very happy about that.]

[Kid Apollo goes still once he realizes he's being watched and turns to look at her.]

What? [Not 'why are you staring?' or 'what are you looking at?' Simply 'what'. He's not big on talking.]

I'm trying to fly. [He says it like it's the most obvious thing in the world.]

[He pauses mid jump and looks at him for a long moment.]

[He almost decides to ignore the question. But after a long silence he finally replies.]

[...if this were home, that would be the dumbest thing he'd ever heard. but considering this is Paradisa, and he's got the silly cape going on... yeah, okay. not that weird.]

And is that something you can normally do, or is this kind of a new goal in life?

<sub>[Vanyel was out riding Yfandes today, glad to be back with his Companion after the Princess/Prince/Dream thing whatever it was. Riding always put them in a good mood, and Yfandes loved showing off after a good brushing, which he had been sure to give her. She practically glowed, she was so brushed.

[His brows furrow and he shakes his head, appearing slightly frustrated.]

[Jenny's out for a walk today, and is instantly pinged by the cape. Perhaps a potential ally? A bit young-looking, but hey ... she doesn't exactly look her age either.

[ Shiemi is roaming the courtyard, eager to see the garden, with a very small companion who is seated atop of her head. It's the cursing that catches her attention first, then she sees his failed attempt.

Time for the approach! ]

Hello! D-do you need any help?

[He turns to her...and stares. Blink. Wow something has actually caught him off guard. He points to the top of her head.]

What is that?

[ She looks surprised, then attempts to look up through her bangs at Nii-chan -- which proves to be a fruitless, because the familiar floats off of his perch and hovers before taking up residence on her shoulder. He makes a noise but it appears to be unintelligible. ]

[ Not feeling threatened by this person, she decides it would be okay to approach him so he can get a better look at him. ]

Nii-chan is my familiar. I didn't want to keep him cooped up in my room, s-so I thought he might like to see the garden!

[His gaze never leaves the strange little thing.]

[ It's cool because Nii-chan is staring just as intently right back. ]
