Has anypony who's forgotten something here... has any of them ever gotten their memories back? Is it possible to get them back? Or........

Are they gone forever?

[well. That certainly sounds bad. She says nothing, but instead starts a systematic search. "Systematic," per say, because there aren't a lot of places a distressed filly would go. Her room, her friends' rooms, the quiet corners and hidey-holes in the library, outside, the roof (???).

[ After wiping away her tears and trying to make herself look presentable, Twilight opens the door via unicorn magic. She stands there, still looking pretty bad. ]

Thou, in a word. [yup, asking if she's alright would probably be pretty dumb.

Oh man, what to do, what to do. Comforting ponies is totally her sister's thing, not hers. She just scares them.

[she doesn't say anything for a long moment, and then simply wraps a wing around the purple pony. Expressions of sympathy seem pretty meaningless right about now.

[ She was trying to hold back, especially in front of the Princess, but she can't help but shed a few tears. ]

[a bit dryly] Perhaps our first course of action should be to prevent young Spike from gnawing at Shining Armor's ankles when he learnest that the Captain hast made thee cry.

[ Sniffle... ] Why would Spike do that? My brother didn't make me cry... the castle did.

And I don't think gnawing the castle would do much. [ Though... he can eat diamonds. So maybe it would. ]

Welllll... marble would have a consistency closest to gemstones, wouldn't it?

I have not the slightest idea. 'Tis a form of limestone, but beyond that all I know is that marble is used for sculptures.

[ Twilight wipes a tear from her eye as she seems to contemplate it for a moment. When she speaks, though, it has nothing to do with limestone or marble. ]
