[Robb has been asleep for the better part of seven days. He'd been stitched up and left to rest, with Grey Wind ever faithfully guarding his bed while he slept. In between bouts of wakefulness, Carson would try to explain this place to him. They were in a castle that's like no other castle he's ever heard of, and it grants wishes only to take other things away. It very possibly brought him back from the dead.

Upon waking up this morning, he realized he was no longer so drowsy, and he was more alert than he'd been since he'd arrived. Finally, it was time to get answers to the questions he needed and dreaded. He wasn't yet strong enough to write for any length of time, but Carson had mentioned he could talk to the journal and it would find its way to people's ears. So he did.]

I was told this castle brings into it people of many worlds. If we are, in fact, so many then there's a possibility that there's other people from my world as well. I come from the Seven Kingdoms of Westoros; if it is familiar to you then please respond. I have...questions of great importance to ask.

[ She pulls back to make a face at him. ]

Court was boring. All the women did was gossip. There was nothing to do.

[He grins at her fondly.]

Knowing you, I'm sure you found some mischief to be had.

I found the dragon skulls. When I was chasing a cat.

Did you? Were then as giant as all the stories have led us to believe?

They were huge. One had teeth as long as swords all black and sharp.

You didn't get too near did you? [He knows about Arya and pointy things. It's not always a good mix.]

[ The sudden guilty looking anywhere but at Robb is answer enough. ]

[He sighs and pats her on the head.]

You weren't hurt were you?

[ She leans into the touch without thinking. Such a little thing, but she has missed it more than she can say. ]

Just my jerkin.

[He smothers a laugh.]

Be glad mother wasn't there at that particular instance.

[ A hint of a smile quirks the corners of her lips. ]

Father wasn't happy. Even Jory was upset.

[He doesn't let his smile falter even though the mentions of their father and Jory felt like a stab to the gut. That he fell and left them unavenged...well, there's time for those thoughts when he doesn't have a little sister to please.]

Of course they were upset. You could have gutted yourself on one of the dragon's teeth.

[ More like she disappeared and gave everyone a fright, but talking to Robb feels closest to talking to their father. There are a lot of things she dares not share with Robb that she would not have told Ned of either. Instead, she shifts the topic off of her. ]

Are you really king now?

[His smile is a small one.]

I was, yes. The King in the North. Like in the old stories.

King in the North. [ It sounds good. Much better than Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm. ] I am not going to call you 'Your Grace.' The others can, but I shan't. You're my brother.

[ She crosses her arms in front of her chest to show just how serious she is about this. This is a point of pride. Family before duty. ]

[He laughs and pulls her into another hug.]

And I wouldn't ask if of you. I'm no more a 'Your Grace' to you then you are a 'my Lady' to me.

[ She smiles into the embrace. Tears prick her eyes, but she quickly blinks them away. ]

I missed you. [ The confession slips out before she can stop it. ] I was so scared.

And I missed you.

[He bent his head to place a kiss on the top of hers.]

What do you last remember?

[ Her answer is quiet. ]

The sept of Baelor.

[His jaw clenches automatically. On one hand, it's good news that he won't have to tell her about their father's death. But on the other hand, he didn't want to explain about his latest experiences either. He just hoped no one else would let it slip.]

Best to put it out of mind, Arya. We're worlds away from all that now.

For how long?

[Sighing, he pats her on the shoulder. He wishes he had an answer to give her.]

I don't know.

How much longer do you have to stay here?

[He gives her a quizzical look before her meaning registers.]

You mean here, in the clinic? A couple more days I suppose. Until I get enough strength back to walk unaided.

Will you come stay with Mother and me then?
