[Robb has been asleep for the better part of seven days. He'd been stitched up and left to rest, with Grey Wind ever faithfully guarding his bed while he slept. In between bouts of wakefulness, Carson would try to explain this place to him. They were in a castle that's like no other castle he's ever heard of, and it grants wishes only to take other things away. It very possibly brought him back from the dead.

Upon waking up this morning, he realized he was no longer so drowsy, and he was more alert than he'd been since he'd arrived. Finally, it was time to get answers to the questions he needed and dreaded. He wasn't yet strong enough to write for any length of time, but Carson had mentioned he could talk to the journal and it would find its way to people's ears. So he did.]

I was told this castle brings into it people of many worlds. If we are, in fact, so many then there's a possibility that there's other people from my world as well. I come from the Seven Kingdoms of Westoros; if it is familiar to you then please respond. I have...questions of great importance to ask.

[ Surprised glee is the first thing Arya feels when she hears Robb's voice. When she speaks, however, she's hesitant. Sansa was so different. Who was to say Robb wasn't as well? ]

Robb?

[young_wolf]

[He's shocked into silence at the sound of her voice. It certainly wasn't one he was expecting. After a long moment he answered, just as hesitant as she.]

Arya? Is it really you?

[persequor]

[ At least he's not being weirdly deferential. She pulls the journal toward her as if that might somehow bring him closer. A wide grin splits her face. ]

Robb! Yes! Yes, it's me! W-where are you? How long have you been here?

[young_wolf]

[The more he hears of her voice lifts his spirits and he can't help the small grin that forms on his lips.]

I've lost track of the days. I...wasn't well when I arrived. A man named Carson helped me, but I'm mending still.

Seven kingdoms? One wasn't enough?

[young_wolf]

Not for Aegon the Conqueror. He brought them all together under his rule.

[msattentionspan]

Sounds kinda shady. Usually people don't like their shit being taken from them, probably guess that goes for kingdoms too.

[young_wolf]

[He's never heard a lady speak so...forwardly before. He's not sure whether to feel scandalized or impressed.]

That they don't. But once they bent the knee, they had to serve them. It became their duty.

[Like Arya, Catelyn feels an instant reaction to hearing his voice. Her Robb. Her boy. Each one of her children that arrives here fills some of the emptiness that threatened to take over her heart- even Sansa, despite everything.]

Robb. [Perhaps he should still be "your grace," here in public. But she can hardly help herself now, after everything.] It is so good to hear your voice.

[young_wolf]

[Her voice brings a very different reaction from him. Relief is in the fore front of all the other emotions: regret, guilt, fear. But she was here, and alive and it was all he could do to keep his voice steady.]

Mother. My feelings are quite similar. What happened? Did you manage to escape the Freys?

Robb Stark

[wintercat]

[Oh. He's from... She throws up a filter quickly just to be sure. Arya doesn't need to hear this.]

Where are you? This might be best to explain in person.

Catelyn Stark

[young_wolf]

[Her response gives him pause and a sudden feeling of dread.]

I'm in the...clinic. Recovering.

Sounds familiar, but I'm not from there.

It's... complicated.

I'm from the planet called Reach.

From what little I know this entire realm seems complicated.

Reach? What is it like there?

You too hail from Westeros?

[young_wolf]

[Not a voice he recognizes, but perhaps an ally all the same.]

I do, my lady. I am Robb Stark. Who might you be?

[upheld]

[That gives her pause... Robb Stark is here, too. Yet he too is dead, along with his lady mother. This just gets stranger.]

Robb Stark. You are Lady Catelyn's son?

Brienne of Tarth. [added quickly:] My lord. [Because she is not sure if she should call him Your Grace when titles mean so little here.]

[direwolfbastard]

You'll find that there are more questions than answers here, Stark.

[You have no idea how happy you just made your brother, if the happy direwolf panting is any indication.]

I'll try to answer what I can, though I do not know much of this world myself.

[young_wolf]

[Yet another voice he was sure he'd never hear again. When he responds, you can practically hear the smile in his voice.]

I believe you're a long way from the Wall, Snow. Lucky for you, I don't believe our laws mean much here.

[direwolfbastard]

That I am. I don't think even King Joffrey could blame me for being kidnapped by a wish-granting castle.

[A pause.]

Where are you now? I think I've got to see you with my own eyes. I was just telling Lady Catelyn not long ago that I hoped I might see you here, and here you are.

I am from Westeros, currently living in the Eyre. [It was Robb. It had to have been. She may not have heard his voice in some time, but it was unmistakable. He sounded so much like a man now.]

In the Eyre? What brand of misfortune stuck you there?

[He's obviously still angry at Lysa for not sending him any assistance.]

My father wed Jon Arryn's widow. And the Vale was better than being stuck in King's Landing under Joffrey. [Seeing his print takes a moment though. She touches the words softly, proof he is indeed alive.]
