You don't need to have your own guitar. The music room supplies that.
[ renee ]
[ Where to even start... ]
We should talk.

Should have said this weeks ago, but thanks.
[ Eh, so what if it's mid-winter and cold outside? It's always warm in the castle, no matter how many windows are kept open or the doors to the outside keep opening and closing. Magic, obviously. Kind of creepy, but it doesn't deter Kate from taking some time today to enjoy a nice swim in the pool. She has it all to herself right now, which is even nicer.
As usual, the journal is open at the side. ]
Seems after returning from Paris, any others who were brought here don't have any recollection of ever being in Paradisa. [ Only one, possibly. ] Doesn't make sense, but that's probably redundant.
It does seem like a shame though, when you've been here a while and then get sent home, only to be dragged back after some time. There's no guarantee on returning with your memories, so you could forget everything you've been taught or taught yourself. [ A beat. ] What would you miss?

Kate
Who said I wanted anything?
Spike
Kate
Too bad blackmail doesn't do much for me.
Spike
If you had tried, you'd be in a world of pain.
Kate
It's none of my business.
Spike
Kate; sorry I dozed on you )x;;
That's not usually a problem. [Which is his way of saying it was an accident. For the record.]
Spike; it's fine!
... Spike, what are you. ]
Kate; <3!
I probably wouldn't trust me, either. Apparently all it takes is a magic fairy. [To make him act stupid, he means. Seems he's got no resistance built up to that stuff.]
Spike
Don't remind me.
Kate
It sounded bad enough when I said it the first time.
Spike
You're a strange man, Spike Spiegel.
Kate
Well, nobody's perfect.
Spike
That'd make for a boring place.
Kate
Spike
Kate
I figured you would be.
Spike
Now if only the residents understood that.
Kate
They might catch on.
Spike
Kate
Spike
Kate
[Which is the number one sign you've been here too long.]
