Looks like it's that time of year again, huh? Time for everyone to be neck deep in babies!

Er... well,not really neck-deep, that would be pretty weird and maybe a little creepy. Anyway, the point I was getting at is that you all are in luck! Ace Babysitter Maya Fey is here to help you all! To start, I've wished up a ton of toys from the castle that kids are bound to love, and I'll be giving them away in the lobby, free of charge!

[and, just as promised, if you come down to the lobby you'll find Maya sitting in a chair next to a big lumpy bag full of toys ]

A lot of people here are really serious, so I figured you guys would need help finding fun things for your little tyke to play with.

Yes! Aunt Maya is available and ready to baby sit whenever!

Awesome! Hang on, I'm coming over with them now~

[And, sure enough, a few minutes later Shiki walks into the lobby with a double stroller, and two kids in said stroller. One of them is her baby from last year, now a year and a half old, and just beginning to speak with dark hair, and her eyes. The other one is a relative newborn, just a few months old, with her eyes again and complexion... and then really dark hair and troll horns - she's also Aradia's child, but none of them know that yet.]

Hey, Maya!

[when Maya sees Shiki, she jumps up and runs over with a big grin on her face]

Oh wow! You sure do have your hands full. [figuratively, and literally!] Do you need me to hold one of them for you?

[Does Shiki really need Maya to hold one of them? Nope. Does she know that Maya really seems to want to? Hell yes. So she grins, and points to her fully human child.]

Oh, yeah, that'd be so helpful, Maya! Why don't you take Shigure, and then I'll try to figure out what Eri here would enjoy? I mean, I have no idea what troll children play with... of if that's even what she'll want...!

[so considerate, shiki :') Maya appreciates it, and takes Shigure with the careful precision of someone who has held youngins before. She smiles fondly at the little tyke, and follows Shiki to look at the toy pile]

Trolls seem to like dangerous things, but that doesn't seem like a good idea for a toy.

Yeah... I don't want her playing with anything that could hurt her! Besides, she's also half human, so maybe she'll want human toys more or something...?

Wow, I wish I had asked Ted more about this kind of thing while he was here...

[aw, sweetheart :( There's a quick flash of concern, but if Shiki dealing with it, Maya isn't going to drag her down and force her to talk about it, so she starts looking through the pile with her free hand]

What about a stuffed dinosaur? The prefect combination of cute, safe, and deadly!

Omigod that sounds perfect Maya you're a genius.

[At this point, Shiki is just so exhausted by motherhood that she's happy to have someone else making at least a few decisions for her... she doesn't have the energy for sadness.]
